Some presets use more FX than I usually apply to a whole track.

But even when switching them off, I notice a remarkable cpu hunger. Actually it's the only plug where I have to change the ASIO buffer to avoid crackling. Hope it will get better with following updates...

Thank you for posting the video and for making it to a person who made it, but... wow... It is amazing to see what people do with the plugin when they get their hands on it. So it was 16 minutes video and the author went straight to the effects units and spent 16 minutes talking about 2 bands EQ and few other things and auditioned the entire 3 sounds out of 10,000. What a great introduction! Yep- the first thing I will do when I get Omnesphere is to listen a difference in reverb tails on one basic sound.

As soon as you switch granular mode on, its peak almost doubles.

C'mon people, there's a whole other thread to whine about downloading and installation problems- can we try to keep this one for actual impressions by people who have used it?

I just want to know how long it takes to install and how big the file is before I drop $500

So if you loved the sounds, but found out it would take two hours longer to install than you thought it would, you'd not buy it?

No i'd rather wait a few weeks or even a month to buy it cause I don't want to deal with some retarded clusterfuck where the company wasn't prepared for the amount of purchases on launch day like certain other products/companies so everything bugs out and doesn't work.

I noticed on the right side of the edit screen the portamento settings that were in Omni 1 are missing. Instead it has "Amp." did they move the portamento controls to somewhere else?

ETA: Ah, I see they have moved them to the Main screen.
