Haven't tried it yet, but thanks karrikuh, for the synth and proving once again that it doesn't require to melt down the CPU to have nice sound quality.

Just downloaded it. As soon as I want to display the user interface, Charlatan crashes. So my DAW mutes it. The DAW's (Mixcraft 7) plugin window is still there, but without the gui ^^ I can actually unmute it and the init patch sounds...

Yes! That seems to work, except both use same preset location (small problem, no change needed).

Poly mode seems to not produce sound at all in some (factory) presets. Legato works with the same ones. Am I doing something wrong?

Great but there is no "main" entry point so it doesn't load in all my hosts and it runs fine under a Win9x system but there is no GUI, just a blank rectangle. Hopefully you can fix both.

X32 version working perfect in EnergyXT2 V2.7 under WinXPSP3
loading in individual patches from 1.4 seems to work.
however, loading a bank from the old version froze the system.

such a FAT sound in unison. thank you, Karrikuh sir!

thanks soo much.
this has become one of my favourite vsti.
actually spent the last few months exclusively using charlatan, planning to release the presets i did.
only thing holding me back until now, is reaper's pita .fxb export and the new pg-8x beta.
now, with the new features, i probably want to rework some of them before release.

one thing i just noticed with the new beta: couple of hanging notes when changing presets holding chords on the keyboard.
win7-64, reaper-64(5pre)

edit: wow, just drooling over stereo/unison with the pad sounds. (no more multiple-panned-instances)

@eidenk: thanks for the hint regarding "main", fixed now.

@Markku: can you be specific about which presets don't work in poly mode? I did a check switching all patches in the "Bass" bank between mono and poly, everything seems fine.

@fluffy_little_something: I installed Mixcraft 7 trial (both 32bit and 64bit), Charlatan GUI shows up without problems. Also tried with multiple instances.
