I don't know if anyone is still alive in here, thread has been quiet fora while. But I can't get this to work at all. the folders are basically empty, and I've tried re-downloading this three times already. Is it not as simple as unzipping the folder and placing it in a VST folder??

Just done a download (even though I already have it) All things seem to be in place for me the .dll / pdf manual / VB303 folder / read me are all there (Windows 8.1 / FL Studio) The patterns folder will be empty until you load up the vst into your DAW. Just drop the Venom folder into your DAW, scan for new plugins and then launch Venom as you would any other vst. Should work okJimmydegriz wrote: folder structure looks like this (from download):

Tried dragging the entire thing into FL studio no result. moved venom folder to VST folder, then did fast scan AND scan/verify. still no luck at all. Tried the same with Ableton, no luck there either

Grab the Venom folder from the zip and put it in your vst folder, thats all
Scan/verify and it should be there as VB-303.

it's 32bit,it needs to be in your Program Files(x86) folder.
you know that,right?

Yup it's in the VST folder that's in there.spacedad wrote:it's 32bit,it needs to be in your Program Files(x86) folder.

It's as up to date as it can get. As far as I know what I have listed as being in the folders is what's meant to be in there at first. UNLESS anyone can tell me otherwise via downloading the folder and listing everything they see that I am missing.Mutant wrote:Update your ZIP/7ZIP/RAR software if it can't extract the archive file properly.

Sounds very much one of the following :
you have not placed it in the correct vst plugin folder,
the plugin struture has not been left in tacted,
your host are not being directed to the correct plugin folder
blacklist of some kind for ableton/live
or not activated in Fruityloops/ableton?
you're running 64bit version daw and the plugins located in 32bit vstfolder,
Apart from that have no idea.
Just tried it with both cubase8.1 and fruity loops 12 using jbridge.
Both work fine [ther vb303 that showsin fruitloops doesnt, the standard does].
You need to enable the optcode 19 option in jbridge and reboot.
Cant think of anything else.
