What format does it import?

It might be interesting if it allows you to import other libraries.

I think it probably will.

It seems to be very similar to the Eventide UltraReverb, just with a prettier GUI. With that being said, I love the ultrareverb... so I'll probably try this out.

I tried it a little bit few moments ago.

Just take a Valhalla Room, and go to my folder (Den) there is a preset "Large Hall-480"
and put it against H-Reverb there is a preset under Hardware folder "480 Large Hall"..

I mean it is a night, and day difference in sound... I expected more after I saw all that marketing with known engineers...

What I huge marketing that Waves did with this one.... :scared:

Def respect your reverb knowledge.. At this price, I wouldn't be buying anyways. I mean, just bought Verberate for $60, Valhalla's for $50each. At $200 on sale, you can buy EA phoenix (at retail price) or other premium reverbs (2caudio, eareverb, NI classic reverbs, etc). Curious to read other opinions...

I will compare what it offers compared to IR1 - just downloaded manual.

Just scratched the surface what you can do with IR1 yet - and still combine with modulating tails with something else in there. Setting up a lab bench in Metaplugin and will try out a bunch of things to mix in.

So what a new plugin might offer is mighty presets targeting different things like femail vocals etc - good starters for a given purpose. Where a certain preset/IR works depends a lot of what you feed it with.

To compare H-Reverb with Bricasti maybe - would be interesting if they nailed some of what that can do.

$199 can come down a bit more if combined with 1-2 other purchases with their discount system.
30% off second plugin, 35% off third etc.

I wateched Waves.com video for about 5 minutes. It was interesting and well done. Well yeh kinda. But the plug spoke for itself.

I find the man takes a liking to the "Digital" aspect of the plugin. I think thats cool. Sticking to some of the more nostaligc roots of Waves.

That plug in spoke well for itself. It had a mean demeanor. It sounds analog in it hybridness maybe Im wrong. but it sounded well beyond that digital realm too, "ina cool way" I'd say.

It has so many nuances to it even in digital form and factor.

I must say I'm looking forward to owning it one day. It is on my list with the H-EQ. "When I get serious about my work".

Thanks Waves, for staying innovative.

I also saw the video, and it was quite impressive, all very fluffy and clean sounding.
Really skilled guy doing that compared to many Waves videos I saw before, which were pretty much downers in my taste.

What he did not show that I hoped a lot from was modulation - sounded really standard, no good part - just boring.
Was hoping for something subtle addition with chorus or like modulation stuff you have for delay stomp pedals I have. But that was his choice right at this video, so in depth video is next to go.

Looking at what you can modulate on Waves Element synth with so many sources and targets on four lfo's - I did not find that in this first video.

Will look for a preset list if something is to sound like Bricasti M7 or something.

And if it's true what he said about not being recursive style effect, without those artifacts coming from that - you can build much larger spaces still clean and all nice, I suppose.

I've been wait a while for this!!

It works a little differently from other reverbs under the hood. Isn't really an IR reverb or an algorithmic reverb, but a bit of both. So hard to compare BUT...

The thing i suggest anybody do is get the demo, drop it in previous mix or two, replace it with your old one and see if you can pull a better result more quickly and efficiently, then compare.

That way you'll have a better grounding for exactly how it sounds and what is different about it. :)

Hmm half convolution half algorithmic, so a bit like Verberate?
