Because just the chorus should have the full cadency with all the harmonies I have to offer, I ask myself if I use the Dominant to Tonic as a strong progression or some more weak progression like IV to I or more weak like iii to I?
Thanks for helping!
Which chords should i use in the verse? strong cadency or some weak progression?

Plagal Cadence- IV-I ring the church bells for this one
Deceptive Cadence- V-vi
Half cadence- -V
to name a few
but why return to I.
Chord lab: Try IV-V-vi-ii or something. get modal. or go ii-I-vi-IV-I-iii-I-V-vi-V/V-V-V/vi-vi-IV-V-I
