I'm sorta surprised that this hasn't been mentioned here yet. A french guy, Olivier Gillet, has written a wave loop pattern sequencer for the Palm OS. It's really a top notch program, and with release 1.2 it will export to MIDI and render it's samples to .wav. This is alot of fun when you're travelling.
Check it out here: http://www.chocopoolp.com/bhajis/.
Olivier is always interested in user's ideas and is very responsive on his forum.
Oh yea, version 1.2 also has a Live mode for live playing. I haven't used this yet but it looks promising. V.1.2 is still in beta but I think it will hit release soon. Also very affordable.

I don't have a palm device, but it looks interesting, and has the shortest plugin sdk documentation ever...

with 'host' we usually mean a program which is able to host certain plugins (vst, dx rtas etc.) round here...

I am fully aware of what a host is, as I am a long time lurker at KVR. I figured that some folks would be interested in this tool and that this would be the most appropriate forum for the post. If the moderator thinks it is clutter he can move it somewhere else.

why does it say at the bottom that there is a cracked version available.....something smells fishy...
edit, not the bottom 1/3 down the page in faq

yeah - a crack is available
Code: Select all
This application will detect Microbe and Bhajis Loops on your handheld and will crack them. If the cracking process fails, pleas·e download them again from Palmgear, PDAssi or Handango.Crack¨Would you find it unfair if someone stole your car?¨Would you find it unfair if someone stole your work so that you would get fired?A?¨Do you find it disgusting to support people who are unable to create anything, but cunning at destroying and stealing? Could a guy be proud of having had sex with a girl he trapped with rohypnol??¨Do you think that this software would have been developed if the author knew that everybody would be doing like you?"Deleting all Palm database!.‚¨“You are a sucker!¨“Deleting all backups!.‚¨—You are a big sucker!¨•Microbe & Bhajis CrackA?¨Just kidding! (Well, just half kidding!.š You're still a sucker!)¨…Thanks!.‚¨Then, be fair, eat rice and vegetables this week instead of BigMacs, don't spend on magazines, work a little bit more and BUY thºe software.
This app is 1% of your salary, but 100% of mine!.B„-

this does look cool - unfortunately I have an old Palm - a Palm IIIxe, which this won't work on. I would love to find a simple sequencer to screw around with on the subway

I think it is indeed interesting, only the title was misleadingReqs wrote:I am fully aware of what a host is, as I am a long time lurker at KVR. that's funny, I don't click on anything that has to with cracks...I honestly don't trust it and I am too honest to use any cracked versions anyhow...

I thought it was odd, and as I'm working on a mac I have little chance of contracting any nastiness from "questionable" palm or PC files - so when it loaded up in the browser window I had a good laugh

yes I did, I guess I'm just that way, with my sarcasm I should of figured that right away. I see the word crack and it just triggers a negative response...I guess it's better to err on the side of honesty...jens wrote:but you noticed that it is the programmers own page?hink wrote:that's funny, I don't click on anything that has to with cracks...I honestly don't trust it and I am too honest to use any cracked versions anyhow...
