Okay, I've worked it out. For some reason, when I was trying to buy when logged into my Shareit account, it didn't work. When I checked out just using Paypal it worked correctly.andrew71 wrote:It doesn't matter what currency I try to pay in, the checkout just isn't working for me!

EDIT: Just got Sunrizer. Gonna have a look at the factory patches and do a free collection of sounds that take it in a different direction. Depending on how well that's received, I'll consider a large commercial set in the future.
Not to just whine and criticize like the net often does, but the presets it comes with as of now are unusually weak to my eye, given what the instrument can sound like. Some of them are just odd and useless, and some of the morphs make no sense to me at all. Maybe it's just me, but I really think better can be done. May put out some stuff myself, in my Free Time (hah hah hah, hah hah, hah hah hah hah hah).

Don't forget the alternative banks. As in the past, I recommend Berlin School musician Alba Ecstacy's sound sets. Demo for one of his many for Sunrizer:dwozzle wrote:Great!Xenos wrote:Glad to see this on Windows now. I'm definitely interested in picking it up. Thanks for those pointers bft. Are "the alternative banks" you're talking about included with the plug, or do you just mean other places around the net that have Sunrizer presets?

Included. When displaying the patch list, at the top, you should see in light blue "Banks." Click it and enjoy some alternatives. Of course, the ones on my iPad are also available to me in the Windows version (or so I believe. Haven't tried to load them yet.)

After playing with it today I came to a solution (maybe) to the Morphing/Modulation problem. As I understand it now, it records all parameters state in A, then when I move, X and Y knobs in B state, it registers again all parameters in B (including the new values for X and Y). Now when I move the morphing wheel it read all parameters in state A then move them (all, even if there are no changes in all parameters except X and Y) to state B. This is the problem why many can't use another midi controller together with the morphing wheel!
The solution (which I suggest) is state A registers all parameters, then when in B I move parameter X and Y. Now, when I return to A it should register only the parameters that I moved in B and set free all the other parameters. So, if I have parameter Z (which will be set free according to this solution), it will be free to be assigned to a knob in my midi controller. Now when I move the morphing wheel, I can also move Z parameter independently because it is not registered in state A or B because only the parameters I moved in B are registered.
Well, I hope I explained well and I hope the developer will implement it in the future

Hey guys,
5 additional banks for free, unpack them and then use import button on banks panel.
http://www.beepstreet.com/sunrizer_addon_banks.zip
You should try especially cfa_vintage_analog with some really great presets inspired by cs 80.

I have only had Roland/Boss/Cakewalk keyboards and MIDI controllers so far, so I am wondering if conventional mod wheels also have a spring? With the Roland mod wheel it is not a wheel as such but more of a lever, which jumps back to zero when released. That is not very fortunate with this synth it seems...
Maybe it would be better to include an independent morph control that is not tied to the mod wheel, but can be assigned to any knob.
Also, when in the already limited mono mode without retriggering, new notes do not respond to velocity, neither for filter nor for volume.
I wish it did not have such little issues because I really like the synth as a whole (sound, user interface, inspiration, fun), but at the moment I can't justify buying it, yet.

@flyffy: Don't you have any assignable MIDI controllers on your keyboard(s)?
On my Roland A-500, I've assigned the first control slider to CC 1 for use with softsynths that use MW for things when a spring-back lever (MS - Modulation Stick?) isn't useable.

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

I have two knobs, but assigning them to the GUI mod wheel does not seem to work...

The envelopes are pretty snappy, and the osc's seem to fully reset, so one can do kick drums etc. with it, not bad at all

The developer (I think) said in earlier post that he did make it assignable. Don't know when will be available.fluffy_little_something wrote:I have only had Roland/Boss/Cakewalk keyboards and MIDI controllers so far, so I am wondering if conventional mod wheels also have a spring? Maybe it would be better to include an independent morph control that is not tied to the mod wheel, but can be assigned to any knob.
In Hybrid3 for example, there are 4 assignable morphing knobs which you can use them altogether in the same time without a problem, but you can't assign the same parameter to more than one morphing knob although you can assign a parameter to a morphing knob and to a knob in your midi controller (I don't see how that is useful, but it explains my point in the previous post). Macros in Massive are the same function.
Good catchAlso, when in the already limited mono mode without re-triggering, new notes do not respond to velocity, neither for filter nor for volume.
Yes, this is not working in the Velocity section. The volume and the frequency are not affected by the velocity when in Mono mode.
+1 also for Mono retriggering button!
In spite of those issues, I don't regret buying it. It is a very good synth and for $50 (intro price) is really a very good value for money. Let's see now how the updates will be (if they are planned).I wish it did not have such little issues because I really like the synth as a whole (sound, user interface, inspiration, fun), but at the moment I can't justify buying it, yet.

The amp decay seems to last only about 1 second (at max!), hard to measure because it is so short...

Yes, I will keep an eye on it and check for updates
