Make sure that you have the A/B mixer set correctly. If you have it set to parallel chains, part of the signal goes to both A and B so you will hear A even if you have the filter completely closed in B.

As for the effects, turning off the power should turn off the effects. Note that Tremolo and panning is located on the top part of the interface, not where the other effects are. Again, both A & B layer have their own effects.

Thank you for trying to help. Unfortunately this doesn't solve my problem. I've put Tantra in serial mode and I can still hear the effects of layer A even if I completely disable the layer (by clicking on the yellow light at right of the interface) and if layer A is enable and I switch to layer B and for example use the B filter in lowpass mode, even if the filter is at complete cutoff (26 Hz in lowpass) I can still hear layer A. All this in serial mode.

In case this can change something, Win 8.1 64-bit, Bitwig.

EDIT: The B filter seems to be working correctly if disable layer A (either clicking the light or mix a to 0db). Then I still hear A, but I can completely cutoff the sound with filter B. But I shouldn't be able to hear the effects of A if it's disable/mix 0 db.

Confirmed bug! If I open the default preset, put the plugin in serial mode, turn the filter in part A's cutoff all the way down to 26HZ, I hear just the subs. Put the filter back to full on Part A, Turn on the filter for Part B, turn the cutoff all the way down to 26HZ and I too still hear part A! Seems to be a bug in the way Tantra is summing parts A & B in serial mode. Easier way to hear this is to crank the distortion on Part A way up so its distorting heavily, then go into Mix B and filter the frequencies - you still hear the distortion from Part A. Seems to me to be a bug.

I also hear the effects of A if I turn off the Glowing button under Mix A. In fact, even if I turn the Mix A knob all the way down I still hear all that distortion! Something is very wrong with the summing of this plugin I think. Maybe its just a problem with the demo?

edit: If I put the plugin back into parallel mode, the Mix A Knob does indeed turn off the Distortion effect. Also the glowing button underneath the Mix A knob does bypass all plugins on Mix A. But as soon as I put the plugin in serial mode layer A is always going into Layer B, and the Layer A effects bypass no longer work. So for sure something screwy is happening when you put the plugin in Serial mode. Bug confirmed: I'm on a mac here running Logic 10. I've only been demoing Tantra in Parallel mode so I haven't noticed this yet! Great catch xx JPRacer xx!

Wait a second please, I have checked and it looks fine by me. Here is an actual mixing scheme for serial mode, just a quick draft (I'll refine the image and put it to the manual a bit later, looks like I forgot to mention that in the manual, sorry):

Layer A can be heard at the output in serial mode if Power A is turned on. In this case Layer A goes to the output and mixed in according to Mix A/Pan A settings. However, lowpass Filter in Layer B is just a 12 or 24 dB per octave, so it can't cut down the input sound completely, it for sure save part of Layer A at it's output as soon as it is the input. But there is an additional LowCut filter, when I use it and set to around 100 Hz (in combination with main Cutoff set to 26 Hz), the input sound lowered by almost 60 dB, which is or course good by itself but still not enough to eliminate the input.

So I have not found anything wrong, but maybe I missed something or maybe you can send me a preset?

Ha, ok, it's working fine then! I thought that in serial mode, layer A went directly into layer B and the mix knob of A was acting like a volume control to layer B. Yes, you should put that little diagram in the manual, less confusion!

Little question Dmitry... Now that your work on Tantra is over, what's next (beside some rest and normal life!). Diversion 2, new synth, new effect?

I now looking at it and find it confusing as well, for sure will update the manual with schemes and description.

Oh yeah, actually I have already some idea formed on some new plugin, which I find interesting and fresh. Funny that it could be both synth and effect, I have to choose somehow. Though despite of some works I have already on it, it will take enough long. Anyway, this year the work will be going on Tantra and Diversion only, there are many things for both to do. Thanks for your interest!
