Hello,
I recently completed this.
India shining - The Bharat Bharat Mix
This is an old tune appeared on TV.
I used to play it in the schools on
functions or special events.
I liked the tune so reconstructed it.
I wish, if you could review it.
Just do not use EQ in even the that
default player's, listen it plane.

the sound is clear only it seems to be a bit distorted. i would describe it as dust covered. maybe that was your intention.
anyway, the feel, sound & mix is very much in vain of what i associate with India. although i don't know why i do like the rather sudden drums that come in at ± 2:37. overall the mix is a bit loose & shabby to my ears. Especially has some high frequencies in there.
ps. i listened to your song through my Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro headphones.

Well,
thanks austere for that review
I have an ok sound system and i know the song fails to keep it's rythm.
This is my almost 3rd tune so would you tell me exactly what to do.
I can provide you individual tracks so that you tell me more.

you are welcome for listening to it & giving my opinion on it
i whish i could tell you but i don'tknow. i am not a master at mixing & mastering and i hardly have any experience. but i think you should first try to get your song synchronised properly. sorry that i can't be more helpful...vishalshetye wrote:Well,

What I want to say is I visit KvR for the variety and openess it fosters - your contribution is a good example.
I enjoyed your webpage too.

I very much enjoyed this one vishal; quite surprising in parts and the Indian background is heard, yet it certainly has more then just the indian influence.
It's quite hard to give pointers I must say, but one of the things that I can share is that the most usefull tool you have are your ears. Listen to others tunes and try analysing the ones you particularly like. And with posted tunes here in the Cafe all you have to do is ask, and you'll find helpful people.
It takes time to learn and find your own style and path. For the most part; have fun, as that should be the basis

Hi Mystahr,
Actually it is the title that left all the visitors confused.
I named it so because it's lyrics are like
"India India
We are your children
.
.
.
and we are proud"
the song was hindi (bad translation)
What you see is mix with western influence.
So sorry for the title.
You can listen drum at around 2:40 or something that is special from india as for as i know.
Take a look at my newest post

and also the Electic_Soul, the competition entry at

and dont worry about the title; I think it's cool to hear different influences here
