I didn't upload the files just yet, tomorrow I will handle the MAC files. I'm also optimizing the code a bit further. Anyone testing the new beta yet?

Ok, great news, just uploaded Wusik Station V8 Beta 16 with great stuff. Fixed some problems that was making the sample player sound damp, now is correct, sorry about that.
Legacy Sample importing advanced a lot, now most stuff will load correctly, but I still need to take care of some things for better translation of older presets.
Optimized some areas of the code and also fixed some problems.
Still need to create some new modulation sources, that some presets uses and that the current V8 engine doesn't have. Keep in mind that V8 uses a totally new engine, so the translation code is taking a bit longer to finish due to that.
I will need to add the option to add/multiple multiple sources to the same destination. This will also be included in Wusik 4000 & 8000, which is a nice new feature for those products too.
Have fun, and report any problems you may find while using this beta version.

I might try this soon now that legacy support seems to be getting there, how do you add legacy patches?

Put them on the ./Data/Presets folder. Or on Windows just use the installer to point to the older Wusik Station and it will list sounds and presets as seen on the videos.

So far a bit over half of the possible modulations were translated, so still need to work more on this. Yet, some of the presets I tested loaded up fine and sound great.
The initial V1.0.0 official release may come with limited WS V7 effects and modulations, but I will keep working on those after that, as it is just way too much work to complete for a final release counting on just pre-orders...
So I need to finish up the most important parts for the final release, and them work on a V1.1.0 update with more effects and more preset legacy translation work, and so on... until it is nearly perfect.
I just hope that makes sense.

Beta 18 uploaded, both public and private versions.
Ok, now, this is a good beta, specially the legacy preset import, which has progressed a lot. I have tested several presets from different libraries and they sound good. I need more users to test things out. I don't know if it is my machine and the compiler acting up, but I get random mutes and re-loading the previous preset and the current one fixed the problem. But I need to find out if this is a bug or something that got fixed when I re-compiled again before uploading.
Anyway, check this version out with the older presets, it loads up most stuff. There are some limitations with this new engine that I will try to improve when possible.
Cheers, WilliamK

William! Thank you for Beta 18. Remember how I said that the presets WSeq Drums 1 and 2 would crash my DAW? That doesn't happen anymore. Also, I am not positive but I think the whole Wusikstation sounds better.
Thanks for all your hard work.
Also, I've used a LOT of modular VSTs... and I think Wusik 8000 might be my dream come true. It looks and feels really satisfying, it sounds great, the presets are very impressive, the sequencing and wave sequencing and granular synthesis options are fantastic. And best of all I can just build patches and not have to worry about why no sound is coming out.
In fully modular synths it's like trying to solve a puzzle: why don't I hear anything? I often get so frustrated I just give up. I like the easy to use semi modular approach of Wusik 8000 and it still gives a lot of freedom.
Thanks.
Christian

Thank you so much for the kind words.
I'm also updating Wusik 4000 & 8000 along, check our company forum for V1.1.2 Beta thread.
