So, I'm thinking I could avoid yet another cable/adaptor and use my iPad (specifically Patch Morpher) as a controller/editor for a KingKorg. I just spent an hour trying to get it working both ways and I'm lost. I can get my Mac Mini to connect to the iPad via bluetooth or via an ad hoc Wi-Fi network I created, but then I'm stuck.
When I'm in bluetooth I click on Audio Midi Setup/Bluetooth and it endlessly scans for MIDI Bluetooth devices, never finding the iPad. (I have Patch Morpher running). When I try it via my network, I never see a Session showing my iPad, as was mentioned in a tutorial I found:

What can I be doing wrong?

No, but I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip. I thought it was supposed to be built into the operating system... oh wait, that was old Apple when things just worked correctly. I keep forgetting.
