That is Jordan James Parke. He spent $150k on cosmic procedures to look like Kim Kardashian.

He ? :-o

Hell I could have saved him a bunch of money just by punching him the the mouth until his lips puffed up to that ridiculous size.........

Given all the new, modern plugins out there, I wonder if LD is even motivated enough to make a major update. I doubt I would be

Money is a great motivator. I would wager a guess that Sylenth 2 would sell a copy or two......... :hihi:

Sylenth1 is good but LD as a company is a pure joke.

I suppose if you got a good product, you can afford to behave the way LD does. And despite the abandonware feeling, I still like LD more than certain other developers who are quite active on KVR and in terms of updates...

If you have that coding skills you don't have to worry much about getting a job - LD is most likely not a company with full time employees (or employees at all).

He has two employees IIRC and his full time gig is at Philips (again IIRC).

Although, it's entirely possible the Philips thing is accidentally made-up.

Could be, but a cleaning lady who works every other weeks for 2 hours can be called an "employee" as well. :D

Philips sounds plausible, it is a Dutch company as well, and has a big audio division, where he might work as an engineer :)

When he was regularly here years ago I do recall him saying it.

This is several years ago so I could be mistaken.

So, still teasing us? :hihi:

I was just playing around with it, using a high sampling rate for a change (in order to get rid of noise when bending the pitch on high notes). That synth still sounds so good and lively, especially on headphones, where it produces quite some bass as well (no, it is not my headphones exaggerating the bass). It has that fine electrified sizzling to it, especially when using 1 or 2 voices per osc, not more, and about 1.5 on the filter drive knob. I wonder if he built an exciter or something like that into the synth, I mean, the difference to other synths is so obvious :)

Some people say the reverb is no good, I thought so, too. But I noticed it sounds pretty good, except when turning up the predelay, which seems to have a slightly metallic sound.

Yep, still nothing that sounds as good as Sylenth. Used to use it in Vienna Ensemble Pro but Akai VIP is easier now.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but there was a second teaser, basically a new skin:

Looks very good :) Not as authentic, but easier on the eye...
