Yes. Could it be solved? What version were you using before ? Was it the stock 0.8.0 ?
Thanks for your time. Dexed is for me the best FM synth. It's a great synth!

Getting the same warnings, but mostly from the collection compiled by BlackWinny, they work ok in 0.8.0 but not in this new version.DrewDale wrote:Mostly the files downloaded from this page - http://www.christopher.net.nz/dx7_tx7.htmlasb2m10 wrote:I need names of the .syx file that works in the 0.8.0 and doesn't 0.9.0 so I can debug this.DrewDale wrote:Quite a large amount of carts that worked in 0.8.0 Dexed are now throwing up a warning, some carts are also not opening at all anymore.
Yes indeed, the same here, some folders are copying to the users / roaming /digital suburban folder with a read me called "missing" and an internet shortcutAutoMotto wrote:

Which sysex ? I need the names of the .syx file so I can test it. Keep in mind that 0.8.0 displayed a small warning message. Now it is a popup. Based on my tests, everything that worked on 0.8.0 works also in 0.9.0.AutoMotto wrote:AutoMotto wrote:

Installed 0.9 on Mavericks 10.9.5 and Logic 10.1.1, and it wasn't recognized. It didn't show up in the plugins list. It also wasn't listed in the plugin manager. Reinstalled 0.8.OSC and there it is.asb2m10 wrote:Dexed 0.9 ; with the Cartridge Manager is -almost- there...
This version now supports Apple AU.
With the cartridge manager, simply put your ".syx" cartridge in the directory then hit "Refresh". Double click to load it or simply click on it to see what programs are available. Those programs can be loaded (without having to load the cartridge) by double clicking on the program. You can also drag program between the loaded cartridge and the currently browsed cartridge. Vive le drag and drop. Send cartridge/program by using the right click button. I'm not too happy with the UI, but I'm sure AZ will have time to help me later.
The store button now ask if you want to also save the sysex file.
Coarse and fine button now shows the right value. Middle-C now shows something meaningful.
This is the beta, just check if I haven't introduced NEW bugs... the old one will be addressed in the next version; that will focus on the engine; I know there are important checkup on the feedback level... and the external modulation.

If everything is positive, the official (non beta) version will be available next week.

I have the same problem. Dexed AU is running in Logic Pro 9 32Bit. But it doesn't get recognized as 64Bit-AU in Logic Pro 9 and Logic Pro 10.1.1. I'm on Mavericks 10.9.5.deft_bonz wrote:Installed 0.9 on Mavericks 10.9.5 and Logic 10.1.1, and it wasn't recognized. It didn't show up in the plugins list. 0.8.osc was a special version for AU. If I remember right.Etienne1973 wrote:I have the same problem. Dexed AU is running in Logic Pro 9 32Bit. @deft_bonz: Hi. What is 0.8.OSC?
Thanks for any help in advance!

Folder - !Intruments - Brass1 all syx, Brass2 all syx, Brass4 brass sounds CW, brass wind flutes syx, Brass2a, Brass3 syx, BrassBa syx, Pollybrass cw syx. Asia koto2 syx. India syx, Italy Italian2 and 3 syx. Ethnic syx. Harmonica syx Harpsichord HARPS1 syx, Organ2 - ORGAN35, 36 and 40 syx. Organ3 ORGAN05 syx ORGAN04 organ3 and organ5 syx, ALL syx in Organ5 folder.
Trust me there is a whole lot more besides too, I will perhaps have more time in the next few days, or perhaps others on here can also try the above mentioned cart too, I have re-downloaded it, just to be sure I did not have a corrupt one to begin with.
Yes Blackwinny is right.... This is just a warning that Dexed didn't exposed correctly before. Some patches work, other is just corruption. But there is no "it worked in 0.8 and not 0.9"BlackWinny wrote:So in my opinion, there is no real fear to have with this warning (this one about the checksum, eh, not necessarily all the types of messages) as long as the bank is however loaded at the bottom.
Is it possible that you provide the download of the AU-0.8-Version again?asb2m10 wrote:As for the OS X 64-bit problem, it will be addressed in the next build.
Try this - !Instruments - Asia KOTO syx. It will of course load into the grid at the bottom, now select koto2.syx and you will notice the bottom grid doesn't change to the newly selected bank, therfore not loading.BlackWinny wrote: Exact.
For example, with:
Folder : !Intruments \ Brass
Bank : BANK3.SYX
I now have this message:
Warning: Sysex import checksum doesnt match 58 != 186
But I can see that the selected SYX bank is however imported. The presets are however loaded and immediately available in the grid at the bottom whilst the checksum error above... and they work, they react correctly to my keyboard when playing some notes.
