Sounded to me that someone stepped on your toe, quantize. Expectation, call for help, injustice, whatever...
Nevermind.
Developer's call, anyway.

When I got a VST from him in the past it didn't have a serial number or anything it was personally watermarked with my name so if that's still his policy that's why it isn't automated, waiting a few days for no hassle c/p is worth it imoquantize wrote:'Donated' for this yesterday...no sign of it yet... 3-7 days to deliver software.. wtf?
Aly really should offer some sort of demos though it'd probably help with sales & people could at least get a opportunity to try the plugin while they wait for the full version

v2 of vlinn has gone to using an unlock key, not sure if the plugin runs in demo mode with no key though. I suspect Aly still has manually process orders though (given he's using the paypal 'donate' system)

This is what I've been after! I bought VLinn 1.0 to load DMX EProms in but it doesn't really sound like the DMX(not to mention buggy as hell, though sure that's been resolved now, won't be purchasing though), better with samples. I've asked him if he'll make one before but no response, seems like he's more of a Linn Groupie tbh.Compyfox wrote: I really hope all other tools will be ported as well. Maybe we'll even see an Oberheim DMX. If that will be the case, I'll start throwing money at my screen.
Someone should though... *Goes to email Tom Oberheim*

New version is awesome, I am making a full updated video review as a follow up to my previous version 1 review!

Should be ready Monday.
Agility, I think that the DMX sounds not great without processing. I will show you how to get the DMX EPROMS into Vlinn 2 in the review very easily
Not played with processing them yet.
I had a look for you for the best possible free processed DMX samples, I used these exact ones for a while. Can't find a link, but here is the info:

The problem with these incredible high quality samples were that they were TOO polished. It sounded like a record and left no room for you to add your own mark on them.

Not that oldCompyfox wrote:Well, Mister Larkin is definitely an old and experienced cat in this realm.murnau wrote:Yes, the rest will follow as it was promised (and i believe Aly is a man who keep his word). Also i read in the manual that Oli Larkin helped to port the stuff so i can't think of any issues.Compyfox wrote:Now we're talking. Not only x64, but also cross platform release.

Still... Oberheim DMX, and I'll gladly pick up more than just one VSTi.
Vlinn2 is a very cool plugin that I am proud to have helped bring to life. Aly has done a kind of soft launch with existing customers so expect the proper release soon!

Hey Aly, nice to see you drop by.
Any chance to see a dedicated Oberheim DMX clone in a foreseeable future?
