32 Bit Cell will be released by using "Flowstone". For nearest future 64 bit solutions are not priority. But, if or when we decide to build Cell for Mac or 64 bit Windows users, we tell you shortly.

Thanks for the info. I have to admit that I'm disappointed though.

What is it with this synth that makes users continue to necro the thread

Anjey_Olaf wrote:CELL is not a joke!) If you do this is a joke, we really will not be able to help. CELL will then come out ... and when it does not matter how many more will require time. If you say that we were too late, I can assure you NO! Consider that over the synthesizer works just 3 people. I am very confident in the CELL and recommend you to be patient. Sincerely SPORE team.
And then for all that confidence, no 64 bit, no OSX version:

What has happened in the meantime is that the Facebook page of Anjey_Olaf is no longer around.

Welcome to the future CELL, in 2011 a 32 bit only plug would maybe have cut it. In 2016 I get told that my system with 8GB RAM is total shit.

Sure seems dead atm. I just wonder what the benefit in keeping up people's expectation should be, if there's no release in sight. So i thought i'd ask anyway. :P

Btw, IIRC, that FB page was already offline a year ago.

OK, but if no facebook, would be good if a dev could have a site with info. The soundcloud page holds little information.

Some new sounds, supposdly of CELL, was posted about a month ago, otherwise silent

Yeah, looks all a bit weird. Anyway, no 64-bit Version of this, and having Spire, i don't feel the need to wait on this anyway. Seemed like an interesting approach though, as many people wait for a Virus like soft synth. But the way it is now, this looks pretty dead.

One if the developers died and there is war in Ukraine since 2014 (they are Ukrainians). Sure, they didn't expected all that when they launched this thread.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

That is very sad :(

But in relation to CELL, a 32 bit plug only is not gonna cut it in this day an age, only as freeware

I see. Wasn't aware of that background. Well, that's very unfortunate and understandable then of course.

Btw, I've just checked out Anjey Olaf's soundcloud, there are two Cell-tagged soundclips posted a month ago. So, there is still hope ;)

Ah, thanks for that. :) Btw, listening through the sound demos again, this thing sounds absolutely great. Really hope that development hasn't stalled.
