This seems highly useful, Thanks Attila!

My pleasure. Thank you for implementing this feature so promptly. I cannot wait to try it!musicdevelopments wrote:Hi Tony,

Thanks again for your work on the mockup!

If both "Start time:" and "Duration:" are set to "1x" (the "neutral" start-up setting) when the "Adjust Timing of Selected Notes" button is clicked, the selected notes will be left alone... correct?

A pity that did not heed my suggestion ... I suggested to do something like quantization length notes, for example, to align the length of the notes in the chord ... Of course selected notes!

Do you mean like a timeline 'Offset' function..? Using the Cut/Copy/Paste is no good..? What advantage is it you are seeking exactly...? (or has Attila already put something of this in to the latest beta builds..? I'm struggling to keep up; so much has moved on..!lulukom wrote:Hello Attila!
Please do this kind of thing:
For example I have a timeline 1.1-3.1, but I need a timeline 3.1-5.1
Control + Shift and drad-and-drop timeline from 1.1-3.1 to 3.1-5.1.
It would be very convenient not to paint again, but the drag !
Thank you!
Sincerely lulukom

Ah..! I understand now lulukom - yes, very nice idea; quickly moving same length of cycle/loop range. I do this easily in Cubase too, by grabbing Locator range using 'hand-tool' that becomes visible when you reach up high enough on the timeline 'ruler' bar...lulukom wrote:Hello thebutler!
Simply drag and drop loop (I mean that highlighted by pressing Shift) on the time scale is very convenient! I use this for a long time
in Ni Maschine !
I wondered, if something of this is not already there in RC..? But no, I think you are right and it is a good Feature Request..!

quantization is already in the note inspector, so you can quantize selected notes. Please clarify if I misunderstood you.
Thanks!

I see. The timeline will be redesigned in the coming weeks, and this will be possible as well as all the standard cut/copy/paste operations on the selected range.thebutler wrote:Ah..! Hello Attila!
Perhaps you misunderstood me ...
Of course I know and use quantization, but I was not talking about the quantization of the start of the notes, but I was referring to quantization the length of the notes (this is perfectly implemented in DP)
You understand what I'm saying, if you answer the question: How to instantly make the same length notes in the chord?
Maybe it will not quantize, but the other team leveling lengths of several selected notes at the same time
Thank you!

I see! So a "Quantize Note Lengths" option would be useful.
And maybe a "Set Selected Note Lengths" too.
The note inspector is very new, so there is lots of room for improvement.
Thank you, lulukom!

Thanks for version 2.9! The new note inspector is really useful!
This is probably really nitpicky, but would it be possible to have the probability sliders in the chord rules editor show a numerical value? To know exactly what the slider is set to.
Speaking of rules, I was looking at the latest updated development road map and didn't see melody rules editor listed
Is that still a possible feature for the future?

Hi Disperato,
you are right, that would be useful to show the numerical value...
Don't worry, not all planned features are listed on the development road map. There are 200 features on the to-do list, some of them are secret, like the one you mentioned
