Congratulations to the winners Jasinski, Z.Prime, Photonic, Parduz and Hanz Meyzer, all deserving winners

What a month in OSC it has been! I for one had difficulty with this synth and I know others did too. So I was amazed at the number of entries, and then listening the quality overall is awesome!
Great also to see so many newcomers. I hope many of you will stick around and have some fun in the coming rounds.

Jasinski! Are not you bored by winning all times?
Congrats to all partecipants.
Now that voting is done, let me say that i'm flattened by all the comments you guys wrote on SoundCloud.
This track was more like a joke than a "serious" stuff (i mean: i'm usually emotionally involved in my tracks, while this was more a funny experiment) so i did'nt expected so much good comments and likes.
Well, thanks to all guys, you made me happy for each comment, no matter the result (which made me MORE happy, obviously
).

Awe crap guys! Not trying to hog up the wins. I thought there were a lot of winning tracks this month. Gave out the most 5s I ever have.z.prime wrote:Congrats Jasinski! Always with the monthly beatings... argh!
Well I'm not going to be able to do OSC for a while so someone else can step up.
I'll take one of Luftrum's sound banks for Diva. His sounds are wonderful.

Oh man congratulations to the top 5 this month ....sooooo good!
Jasinski, Z, Photonic, Parduz and Hanz M you have given us amazing tracks for the top 5 this month but the best thing to me is that the quality tunes keep going all the way down the list in a way that (and I think I am being reasonable here) makes this a truly stand-out month for OSC
Well done all.
To everyone, thanks for comments, likes and votes this month (I can only apologise for my patchy comments this month due to some rather heinous viral gastro thing ....yep, like you needed to hear that
), all very much appreciated and of course...
A huge thanks to J
for working with me and putting in so much effort to pull it all together. You are very talented and I hope that you continue to keep making music when and wherever you can
Actually while I am at it I had better not forget BJ and Martin as well for making this all possible in the first place.
And as a conclusion to my blog today, I would just like to let you know that I will be away from my DAW quite a bit over the next few months so I probably won't get near completing an OSC entry for a while but will try to drop in and check things out whenever possible.
Play nice, make music, have fun,
BH

Yep! +1 to all that! Something about this synth - despite the limitations - is very special and sounds great. People say this a lot... how great every month is, but I think the tracks this month were absolutely spectacular! Give yourselves all huge congratulations; they are definitely in order: every participant, of course J, Photonic, Parduz and Hanz, Martin for a great synth (keeping this one in the arsenal!), and Brian for being our fearless leader every month.H-man wrote:... the quality tunes keep going all the way down the list in a way that (and I think I am being reasonable here) makes this a truly stand-out month for OSC... I suppose I'll pick Diversion this time around. You're up, songwriter extraordinaire, Photonic.

Congrats to the winners. This is well deserved.
Special mentions to Action Cat and Tjgoa who ranked in my personnal top 5 as well.
My personnal results (in the last 10) sting more than I want to admit. At least I ranked before wagtunes.
Not a surprise though. After listening to all tracks, this is exactly where I would have honestly ranked it.
Thanks for the constructive comments and the great tracks. I will do better next time thanks to you.
Take care.

Congratulation to Jasinksi!

I was curious who will make the second place behind you
Z.Prime is also a good nominee for a winner place (thanx for the "songwriter extraordinaire"
) . So my congrats to you Z., Parduz and Hanz Meyzer too
I am more than happy to got third place in this strong OSC. Thanx for all your points and great comments.
I will take the TkDelay. I missed a delay with reverse effect till now. And this plugin has a lot of potential.

A very quick question:
is Diversion CPU usage better or worst (on average) than SynthMaster?

Its definitely a CPU hog. You have to guard your release times very carefully, and watch out for number of voices used and oversampling. Not used Synthmaster very much yet but they are both power hungry (and awesome sounding!)Parduz wrote:A very quick question:
