So You Think Apple Isn't Evil?

Ask Taylor Swift what she thinks about Apple's new streaming policy where for the first 3 months for each user, they get free streaming and artists do not get paid royalties for their music.
You can read the Rolling Stone article here.

I bring this up because of the Camel Audio thread and everybody defending Apple as a company.
This is just further proof that Apple is evil and doesn't care about anybody but themselves.
I hope this backfires on them and every artist, just like Taylor who will not be offering her album 1989 for streaming, pulls their music and leaves Apple in the dust.
They are the pure definition of evil and I still hope they burn in hell.

Evil Apple, forcing people to sign deals, sell companies, buy their stuff and crave for them....

I didn't read the linked article, just responding to this sentence which kind of stands out for me. What exactly should Apple care about if not about itself? I mean, like, it's a company and therefor of course should care about its own profit in the first place, to expand, and to be able to pay their employees (something many often forget when it's about "greedy money hungry companies"). Tbh, i don't get that "evil company" stuff anyway. People are paying for their products and services. And obviously, there are a lot of people trying to make money with Apple's services too. They don't have to do it, but obviously they see their profit too (talking about evil selfishness).wagtunes wrote: This is just further proof that Apple is evil and doesn't care about anybody but themselves.

Exactly, but no, nobody got free will and only Apple is in for the buck, poor pop star, Camel Audio guy or any other that took the moneychk071 wrote:Tbh, i don't get that "evil company" stuff anyway. I think she thinks 'Yeah, Im f**king awesome because I got Apple to backdown on this' and has been doing so since before you heard it was a 'thing'.wagtunes wrote:Ask Taylor Swift what she thinks about Apple's new streaming policy where for the first 3 months for each user, they get free streaming and artists do not get paid royalties for their music

An idiot on Set Theory:

I guess the next Republican president's scriptwriter had probably better include them in whatever term is the successor to "Axis of evil" then.
Obviously this overshadows the church shootings in Charleston. So much more evil.

What are Apple doing that other international mega-corporations aren't (apart from buying Camel Audio)?
Not a fanboi, devils advocate.

I don't mind actually with that policy. Basically they are trying to convert everyone to use their service, and once they're hooked up these people will not stop paying for streaming music.
Like it or not, music streaming is going to be the future. With internet getting faster, cheaper and accessible.

Yep , streaming TV shows , Books , Movies , and music . I agree . I do think the musicians seem to be getting the raw deal out the 4 listed though , so Kudos to Taylor Swift .

I hope Taylor Swift dies and burns in hell. Talentless pop diva.
