The pathetic thing about that is rather that they feel like they have to play saint for business reasons. Like Google who tell you that they will power their whole servers with green energy soon (ugh, and what at night or if the wind doesn't blow?). If then that whole hypocrisy (on the customer side mainly) should be criticized.

I'd agree that there's a whole sanitized sales pitch for everyone in the audience - I wish it was made more transparent. The truth is, that they can pretty much do whatever they want, because they have a monopoly (just like 'do no harm' Google). It's no wonder that huge mega corps have their HQ's in Ireland too. Total tax dogers the lot of them, and of course the Irish Government is complicit.

I'm not a fan of th EU, but I hope they force the Irish Government to get Apple's ten year back tax, which the EU are currently trying to do. That'd be a nice sting in the eye.

But you'll find that Fine Gael (who are currently in power) will not allow that to happen. Ireland loves a megacorp. $$$$$$$$$$$$

really ?? i don't have any time for the current, facebook-fueled trend towards sensationalist conspiracy theory, but i'd be surprised if anyone feels this way about any corporation that isn't specifically charity-based

Tried to listen to one of her songs recently, it was horrible

But I do think she has talent (if you like that sort of music) and is clearly quite in charge of herself which is commendable at her age
