I can't really think of a way to figure it out.

Just for Synth1, got many thousands patches

I wonder if the number is closer to 100,000 or 1,000,000 for all my plugs ?

Post

maybe you could count them (?) ... I for one can't wait to hear the results. :hyper: :P

There's a plugin that keeps a running tally of all the patches in all your other plugins.

It's amazing. :D

If you mean Zen, I've tried that but didn't get it to work properly, it freezes up all the time.

I'll make general prediction, I find 967 dll files in my VST folder.

If I expect that on average they contain 3-400 presets. For Kontakt there are +10000, Analog Lab 5000, while many only got a few (one ping only obviously only got one), seems like an OK average to use.

That would mean I got about 300.000-400.000 presets to choose from :o

Can you beat that? 8)

Edit: I guess anyone with Autogun, can floor me quite easily :hihi:

According to NI Kore I have 93,269 - that is the number that I have scanned and catalogued using Kore. However it doesn't include plugins that are not batch scannable into Kore, such as Arturia plugins, Omnisphere, u-he plugins, and post Kore NI plugins (although I have converted many of my favourite banks) - it does include approx 3/4 of my Alchemy banks (but a few still to catalogue) and I have saved sounds from my fave Omnisphere 1 patches and some Zebra banks. I tend to prefer using presets that are part of my database though, partly because every one of these is also mapped to Kore knobs and buttons, and partly because they have useful attributes that help me narrow down searching for the right sound I need.

i have 12700 patches in my Kore database & 2699 of them are 5-star rated, color coded & meticulously tagged & now that i just got Jam Origin's MIDI Guitar 2, of the 2699 5-star rated presets i have in Kore, 699 sound amazing being driven by my guitar. i also prefer using presets in my Kore database because of its amazing librarian & routing to knobs.

I don't know and I can't think of a reason that I'd even care. I guess the answer is: way more than I'll ever use. :D
Logic Pro | LUNA Pro | OB-X8 | Prophet 6 | OB-6 | Rev2 | TEO-5 | Pro 3 | SE-1X | Minitaur | Deepmind 12D | Slim Phatty | TR-1000 | Analog RYTM mk2 | Digitakt 2 | TD-3 MO | TD-3 | Maschine+

Given my ability to create presets on almost every plugin I have, and the fact that I have 200 plugins installed, the answer is infinity.
This space has been unintentionally left blank.

No idea, I never have patience to check more than 30 presets. If the right sound doesn't come quickly, I must be doing something wrong.
