Drum Synth Plugin for 219 USD is very high.
I tested it at Musikmesse but I don't see to pay such a price for it

Going by the videos I watched, I think it sounds good, has some pretty cool features and while not "cheap" , the price isn't outrageous.
Softube often have sales, so you don't always have to pay full price.

Sound examples are very old-schooly to my ears, but that is I suppose in line with other SofTube other that are focused on good analog emulation rather than modern sound.

Sound examples didn't work on their site now so could only look at the videos.

This could work well as parts of the drum sounds of a track and quite convenient to have a full drum kit in one plug but using only this? Nah, I can't help but feel that emulation is not quite there yet with all sorts of drums without using samples.

Sounds pretty good from what I've seen. Funny, I thought this would have been way more expensive because ST products are always very very expensive. So yeah, not cheap, but not that expensive.

Geist was more expensive, if I remember correctly when it came out. I remember playing quite a bit for it. :)

More expensive than over 200$ ?!
I think that is pretty hefty already

219 bucks ?! :o I'll stick to my beloved Microtonic...I think that's a bit overpriced, even
with the Dynamite and Tsar inside...

Aye , Giest is $250 and not so many complaints about that being over priced.

That's what I liked about it. It does some of the hats and cymbals a bit better than some of the other emulations I've heard.

Hours later....pretty mind-blowing what Heartbeat does and gives you feature wise for the dough, the quality and versatility of this DM is outstanding imho...sounds fabulous!

I liked the old school vibe too and it comes some cool FX like Softube's reverb, etc.

Yeah, that’s what I paid for it. So I’m still convinced that this is relatively cheap for S.T.

And as you say… Geist didn’t get that many complaints. Good point!

It is my 'go to' drum software and has been for a few years now. :)
