this is really "soothing", i could listen to it all day. I have a selection of tunes (mostly soundtrack stuff) that i listen to when i'm working late at night, this will fit in perfectly. you are obviously very good at what you.

i might have been tempted to do more with the percussion and maybe add a little bass but that would probably ruin the feel of the tune.

i've been playing with your cello samples recently which are cool but the real thing is much more expressive 8)

cheers,

steve.

Fitch, this is really great. I won't comment on the mix as you said that's still in process but all the elements sound nice. I even like the drum loop though it's a bit repetitive. I love the high-frequency atmospheric bits. Like a dreamy remix of Arvo Pärt... Your music is so cool.

:D Thanks for listening guys.. it just took me 15mins to upload that with my dialup connection

Given that you're on dial-up, it might be tough to offer several versions, but I'd love to hear a version without the percussion.

Lovely playing.

A fitch tune! :D Haven't seen one here in a while...
I like this,Claire :) The expressiveness of your cello playing always knocks me flat. The ambient textures are superb(Absynth,I'm guessing, and maybe Atmosphere). The drums COULD stand a little change here and there, but it's definitely on the right track.

:D I've been in 2 minds about those drums since i did them.. my thoughts behind them were.. the constantly returning feature of a sphere..

mmm

that's why i posted the track.. to see the response..

i'll put a non percussion versions up too.. it'll take me a while though

Lovely! I just would make a little bit more variation on drums, maybe more of a bit of hi-toms here and there, and let all the percussions a little bit more in the background (some reverb?). All the rest if fine, and more than that :)
Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

:D just added the non percussion version for your pleasure..
