 thanks Xander, no need mate - I posted another UF tune today. Geez I love this synth!

Great tune, Koorby - UltraFocus sounds very good. I’ll probably hold off until the reports are in on SS2, though. I was actually more impressed by the guitar. For some reason I’m always overlooking the PlugSound series, I may have to look harder. This is definitely some of the best sampled guitars I’ve heard, for once they seem to have got the string attack right. It’s probably a lot in the playing, too – nice work.

sounds pretty good.
electric is a tad to loud in the mix though I feel.
KVR, my adult playground.
Please, call me Brice.

Sounds very pro the production/mix, nice chord sequence too. Quite impressive guitar sound really convincing but id like a more compressed sound, the acoustic didnt take my fancy though. overall id have liked the drums to be slightly dirtier, everything just seems to be ultra clean, apart from that nice tune.

Thanks Yoss, those Plugsound Vol2 guitars are the best I have ever used. I play around with the ADSR envelopes to get the right attack feel. Sometimes I also feed them through Amplitube.

Agreed. I am in the process of remixing. That Strat is way too loud.

I like clean, although I'm moving to a grittier sound with my newer stuff. I mix and master using Tracktion, which does not have a mixer - which I LOVE. It makes you really use your ears to balance the song out.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I was going to remix, and with those suggestions it reinforces my planned changes.

I actually went ahead and ordered PlugSound 2 today and it's all your fault. :hihi:

Congrats Yoss, you won't regret the purchase. Now we want to hear some songs using that plug asap! :) The trick is trying to make those guitars sound natural and non-keyboard like. It takes a little practice, and it does not always work.

I've also heard that Musiclab's Real Guitar is simply fantastic and very realistic - except it's all acoustic stuff. It's my next purchase I think.

I'll see what I can do.

I have a couple of weeks off from work so I hope that pluggie gets here fast. 8)

RealGuitar looks interesting but I still think those bends sound a bit dodgy. For strumming I'll probably stick to my Digitar.

i like the guitar sound...i like the bass, too, by the way....i don't think it's too overpowering, but i can imagine that some would....depends on a) taste and b)what frequency your personal hearing loss is at.
i was just listening to cellosheres in another thread....there sure is some good stuff hee today....humbling and inspiring as always. :D
i'd rather have a mullet than a comb-over.
fortunately, i have neither.

Thanks uncadave; I tried to remix this an hour ago to bring the guitar volume down, but my PC crashed ... maybe it's an omen to leave it alone?
