Hi
Request: Dyno My Piano Tri Stereo Chorus
It's an 80s BBD rack chorus.
Further information: http://www.italodeangelis.com/it/eventi ... chorus.asp
Any ideas how to mimic this unique chorus effect unit with ÜberMod?
Sound examples: http://youtu.be/Os4ZqC_wx4k
Thanks in advance for your help!

harpsichord playing single notes. mostly the same preset on the other stuff. what it did to the tabla is quite cool, sounds like shaker/paper sounds.
just a quick test, i believe one could build great semi-random minimal compositions around similar patches.

I forgot I posted these.
And I just noticed something and need to clarify: "Whispers and rumors" preset is just a modified "SlowChordFeedback" Sean had posted a while back.
I modify presets often, and didn't realize the preset was derived from his original when I posted it.

How do you delete a preset from ubermod that you added? Can i go to a folder and remove it?

Hey, I love the sound on sound mode on my Strymon El Capistan pedal for deteriorating loops, especially when you turn up the tape age, wow and flutter and tape crinkle knobs and let it run for a while.
Just wondering if it's possible to emulate this sound in Ubermod, for example using an 8/4 delay time with the feedback set high for a 2 bar loop?
Sound examples here:

Cheers!

Got Übermod yesterday and totally impressed by it, especially when used as a Chorus/Ensemble plugin.
Recently i also got a Waldorf Streichfett hardware String synth (fully DSP based) that has a very nice built-in Ensemble effect. If i find some time i will try to get a similar sounding Ensemble with Überrmod and post the preset here if finished.
Best way to do this seems to be to use the Streichfett as a sound source as it is possible to switch off the Ensemble which then offers the opportunity to add Übermod instead. Using Übermod in combnation with the Streichfett seems to be a great option anyway.
Streichfett also got a second mode for teh Ensemble that is closer to a "normal" Chorus with less modulation/movement. Maybe it would be possible to replicate this too.
While inspired by vintage String machines Streichfett does not seem to be an emulation of a specific unit (and contains features not included with other string synths like e.g. the continuous Registration knob for changing/morphing the timbres).
As a starting point a comparison to different Übermod presets seemed to be the best option. My first guess was that this could be a Solina like Ensemble but the "DualPerformer" preset (using the "DualEnsemble" mode) seemed to be a better starting point. The "16Tap" algorithm/mode seemed to be good too so i am currently tweaking those 2 to get the right result. Matching the LFO settings seems to be the most difficult task.
UPDATE:
Those two presets are my first approaches to the (IMO very nice) Ensemble effect of the Waldorf Streichfett string synth (one use the 16 Tap and the othe the DualEnsemble mode):

While maybe not perfect emulations yet personally i like those results very much and they do not really seem to compare to any of the other Übermod presets i checked so far. The diference seems to be that those Ensembles have more "movement" due to faster LFO settings and/or a bigger mod amount.
Those who want a bigger low end could also set the Low Cut in the EQ to a lower value.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first other instrument i checked with those ÜberrMod presets was the Solina sample based instrument included with the Ableton RetroSynths pack for Live 9 Suite. The result sounded really nice.
I also tried to check with Xils Lab V+ that is a Roland VP-330 emulation (including the vocoder) where i was one of the Beta testers and also did some presets. The VP-330 Ensemble sounds much different from the Streichfett one but replacing it with the Übermod Streichfett presets could result in some nice and/or interesting sounds. The Strings seem to be quite bright so maybe adjusting the HighCut in the EQ of ÜberMod could be necessary (the "Dark" mode is alraedy used in my presets), depending on the desired sound. The basic sound of Streichfett seemed to be less bright.
Will also try to check with some synths that are not dedicated String synths/machines.
Another option could also using it with the paraphonic sounds in the Waldorf Pulse 2 analog synth (Osc 1 offers some paraphonic modes while the "normal" modes/waveforms are monophonic).
Will maybe also try to post some audio demos with a comparison in the near future.

edit: no II and III modes since I Ubermod atm, I don't have access to individually tweak the L and R delays, I can offset them, but I can't pick different times and modulation... mode "I" is really what I would use anyway so I don't feel too bad!

thanks for this.
I've got a Eventide H9 which has micropitch from the H3000 which I think was the inspiration for the microshft plugin.
Sounds very similar - also I looked at it on a stereo analyser (for which I've lost the instructions - it's the Computer Music thing) and it looks very close there too. Maybe the delay time might come down a little?
anyway thanks - I can see this being very handy

^about the delay time... I started with a lower value but it kept asking to go up. I modeled mode "I" from the "Little" MicroShift and the mode I has the longer delay time it seems...ChamomileShark wrote:Computer Music thing) and it looks very close there too. Sure thing, like to model these things as accurately as possible... so instead of having multiple plugs I can only use Ubermod.
