Got it. The sound is GREAT. Interface clean and easy... although way too small. Any chance of putting a 1½x or 2x size option in there?
Also, I can't tell what all the samples are saying -- which makes for some great possibilities in surrealism, but it'd be kinda nice to know what the words are (e.g., in the Jungle sets).
Again, many, many thanks!

Re the interface - I am actually quite fond of smaller interfaces for the simple reason of multiple instances - If could add a resize function I would however the software I'm using for these is limiting re functions. One thing I hate is when dev's take up half my screen on a simple UI that is not resizable and multiples are impossible.
Re the understanding of each jungle sample - interesting point - I understand it all but it's only because I grew up with dreads and patois comes easy to me. But I just might do a translation list for fun/abstract marketing. If you want translations on any specifically for something you're working on feel free to ask.

I feel awful now xzant. I got in on the act and have had a couple of hours with VoxNBeatBox, it's great fun.
As for having no demo, perhaps Norbz is open to persuasion if he hasn't already planned on it.
In the meantime I have to say thanks to Norbz for the freebies and mention that I have sent a pm about some DubTurbo effects plugins in FLStudio 12 relating to Unique VST IDs.

@zxant
@nineofkings
and ONE MORE PERSON AFTER THIS POST - still get a copy
. I'm feeling generous, better late than never 'n all.. Hit me up with your OS/bit level.
Also special thanks to Bob Bobwood - unique vst ID issue addressed and published, will add a note on site shortly (basically some of our free vst effect plugins had dupe ID's and cause issues in some daw's).

I might work up a list for translation over the weekend.
The reason I ask about the interface size is, my vision isn't all that great. There are some fantastic bits of software out there that I have a hell of a time using, even with the Accessibility options, because their interfaces, and especially the fonts they use, are so TINY. SampleTank, Kontakt, U-he... can't frickin' read 'em without the magnifier. Same problem here.
One last thing -- it seems to me that some of the samples cut off a bit abruptly, even harshly. Is that intentional, or something to be looked into? Example: JungleVox10 -- compare how Sample #10 (3rd row, 2nd square) ends to how #12-16 end. It seems as if the latter are cut off before the reverb can fade, and #12 is actually pretty bad. I presume it would likely blend into a more complex mix, but I don't know about simpler ones.
Thanks again!

I also often have issues with GUIS. Mainly due to the fact that I'm visually impaired. So, yes. Tiny fonts et cetera is not that great for my eyes.filkertom wrote:I might work up a list for translation over the weekend.

However I've noticed that more and more developers have started to take those issues serously. That's a good development. However, there's still a long way to go.
Customizable GUI's and/or alternative skins et cetera is a way to satisfy as many users as possible.

@ Filkerton: I understand, I'll keep that in mind for the next ones re bigger guts/fonts/knobs but still keeping a small overall design for easier multiples. If you do end up doing translations I'll help on any you can't decrypt
.
EDIT: Thanks for the heads up on some of the samples not reverbing out properly. I think with some of them you tie them together so as one sample ends abruptly you trigger the next - however some of them might indeed need fixing I'll do a once over in the near and correct any that cut off.
@SFD: Agreed that all tools should be customizable top to bottom, hopefully we see more of that over time.

It's really cool seeing some of the things/ways some of you are going to be applying these - in my convo's in PM's on here and FB (did a lil' giveaway there too) for this and BASSturbo, I'm getting people that will be using these for everything from live gospel sessions, to film scoring, to video game design, to abstract things I would never think of - really opens up my eyes to the various demographics/uses VST's have.
