Wow, that's great news! First time in the top 3 for me too.
Congratulations also to nineofkings and Davias and thanks to KVR for hosting these contests and of course to 3ee for providing the material and feedback.

Could you explain a bit more detailed what you mean when you say "more deep than full", so I can avoid that next time.

Regarding the prize, I'd go with Acon Digital as I was interested in their restoration suite for quite a while already.

@Davias: stereo image balance in a sense of balancing frequencies across the L-R channels not simple panning...

squashed... in general, maybe you over-processed with saturation and it feels that way + obvious drum bus compression... the drum compression has good side-effects too.

Wow, thanks! I never have been one for much mix buss compression but I should learn how to do it properly for genres like this. Congrats to Kolyev and Davias as well. I'm sorry to ask for the same prize slot but I would prefer a T-Racks single as well (Precision Comp/Limiter). If that's not available let me know and I can change my decision. Thanks.

First and foremost, congrats to the three winners kolyev, nineofkings and Davias.

I've seen that you already selected your prices, so please get in touch with satYatunes regarding handling of the licenses.

@NineOfKings:
Since you're in second place, you have the pick over Davias (third place).

@Davias:
Please take note of the rules in terms of winning prices (first come, first serve). Sorry for the inconvenience.

And as usual, give us a couple of days to handle licenses.
MC12 is still in full progress.
And we're still looking for new content from MC13 and up! Please get in touch with us!

It's a bit subtle but still clearly noticeable so maybe it's your monitoring system if you don't notice it.

the sound becomes deep in general if there is much bass to sub freqs and not so much low-mids (which gives the impression of a "fuller" sound. OTOH, of course too much of them will sound muddy)

It's not only in the subs vs low-mids: there is a sense of deepness across all of the spectrum if you cut and/or boost certain freqs on individual elements.

Instead of picturing the freq spectrum from the very lows to the very highs, try picturing individual instruments like the fundamental + harmonics and you'll better understand what I am trying to explain here. so for example: if you'll try to make an Hi-hat sound deeper for example, try boosting below it's fundamental a bit and cutting around it's 2-3 harmonics.

Thank you for the feedback ^^
I have very hard to hear compression/distortion and tune... should focus training on that...
For the stereo i should use my headphones next time... :)

Ok it is first come in terms of ranking ^^ seems more logical to, when i read "first come first serve" it didn't sound that way to me at first glance.

So I will happily choose tone2 UltraSpace then if possible ^^

Thank you.

@Kolyev - Please pick a prize and send me a PM with your e-mail and name. As first winner you got the first pick. We cannot move on to next until you decide, please do not hold up the excitement of other winners :-D

@Davias - Please send me your name and e-mail through PM. Let's Kolyev pick the prize first. If he doesn't pick Ultraspace then it's yours :-)

thanks to 3ee for the detailed feedback.

I picked acon digital, so Ultraspace and IK multimedia are still available.
