if you still want stuff i might sling together some ambient bollcks later (and yes - the other thing has finally got underway too so dont moan)

just upload one 20 minute piece rsmus,i do actually wanna contribute some tunes
well amberience on your head be it when children refer to themselves in third person narrative
and rob, yeah cool be good to have some actual teach bits in there
to be honest i always wanted to work with kids(bit younger than kieran is now tho)but my mental health problems stopped this for obvious reasons, but i know this isnt the same as doin it full time but the buzz im gettin out of being part of stimulating kids imaginations is great
altho being called mr vurt when i go to the shop is a little disconcerting

you get it !!! - thats PRECISELY why i like teaching so much (only works for certain subjects though i guess) - shame about all the red-tape paperwork bollocks thoughvurt wrote:i know this isnt the same as doin it full time but the buzz im gettin out of being part of stimulating kids imaginations is great![]()
heehee - better than MANY things kids could call you down the shops thoughvurt wrote:altho being called mr vurt when i go to the shop is a little disconcerting
right ... grass mown ... shopping done ... time for lunch and then some ambient space-type bollocks (no idea what youre after and havent listened to anything else here yet but ill have a go at what i think is spacecore)

thats it rob each persons own interpretation then ill try and either mix them together or write adjoining parts
as for red tape if your referring to my health i have to disagree at least in my case.the red tape is there for a good reason,im not always the calm gentle bloke you know me as,wouldnt be good for kids of any age full time if you get me
but like i said here i am involved in the kind of thing id like to do most with kids, and i guess your job aint always just the good bits.

well, that I could imagine, you don´t wanna be a dj.vurt wrote:just upload one 20 minute piece rsmus,i do actually wanna contribute some tunes![]()
But maybe you´ll get enough music for lying a whole week in bed and just float by.
I will do the upload next week, cause I´m off till the sunday.
To the children, I´ve been working most of the time in my life with children, ´till this year I got a higher position, a bit like a supervisor, for the ones that work with the kids.
It can be a lot of fun and lot of hard work too.
And I always love the creativity and fantasy of the kids. Should be interesting for them with the kind of music, if they´re not too biased by the charts.

heehee - im aware of your 'issues' mate (and understand the reservations you have because of them) but i was actually referring to all the paperwork we have to do in teaching that gets in the way of actually working with the kids at some times of the year AND all the stuff we have to do to justify what we do in the classroom to those above us (management / ofsted / LEA / government / etc)vurt wrote:as for red tape if your referring to my health i have to disagree at least in my case.the red tape is there for a good reason,im not always the calm gentle bloke you know me as,wouldnt be good for kids of any age full time if you get me
nah - but the good bits FAR outweigh the crap you know ???vurt wrote:but like i said here i am involved in the kind of thing id like to do most with kids, and i guess your job aint always just the good bits.

so - finally (although having said that - a track in less than a day - must be some kind of record for me) ...
... the challenge of ambient space bollocks led me to fire up an OLD audio friend for some serious work for the 1st time in ages ...

... so i custom-built a vurt-based mulch contraption and then recorded the whole tweaking shebang live (so there are a couple of glitches in there but hell ... what you gonna do about it ??? ) ... the downside is i got carried away so its turned out 13 minutes long !!!
(perhaps only fitting given its vurtian context)
ironically for K-v-R ... nothing but native audiomulch and a few samples (with a tad of vintagewarmer thrown over it in audition by way of mastering) ...
... sorry to all you dial-up users ...
'small' version - pHz---vurtices-128 (c.12mb)
high quality version for john - pHz---vurtices-320 (c.30mb !!! )
enjoy john - and use as you see fit (the last 3rd might be a bit doom-laden for the kiddies though i guess)

vurt
Siccle asked me to post here, so here ya go:
You can use this piece if you want
http://www.kvr-vst.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=620088
Based on Saturns rings. Uses 3 Cameleons and 2 M42 Nebulas and an Atari program called CAMUS
or...you can set up steem and CAMUS yourself, go thru my tutorial on my CAMUS page, and make some soundscapes yourself. CAMUS can go for a long time, with constant variations of space!
also..once you get steem set up, you can download any of the other algo apps on my site and give
'em a try. It might put a new spark into your music! You will need a loopback device however ( Virtual MIDI cords) to play your VST's in your host ...but..IT WORKS!
