Thanks Andy!andy-cytomic wrote:No probs, can add it. Those lists are a little out of date, and yes FL Studio is pretty good with plugin compatibility and stability and they are also good at giving licenses to developers for testing, which can be a struggle with other hosts (e.g. Adobe Audition, still waiting for a license Adobe!)KingTuck wrote:Hey Andy. 'Nother fan of The Drop here. Really really nice.
Would you consider adding official support for FL Studio as a host? It seems to function without issue in it, and it has more users than some of the other hosts you officially test and support. Seems worth adding to the itinerary. As I take it the VST implementation of FL (wrapper or no) is one of the more "to spec" of the hosts out there, I've got a bunch of plugins and they seldom have issues with FL. Occasional instance of fixed size buffers and that's about it. For the purpose of security in later updates, I know I'd appreciate it being officially supported. Although it works just fine now, it would be frustrating to be SOL in the unlikely circumstance that something breaks compatibility down the line.

*I was wondering if you could add some small selection arrows beside the filter names to allow clicking through the filter types (see mockup-sorry its not so nice looking). I'm travelling often and so i don't usually have a midi controller.andy-cytomic wrote: It isn't possible to reliably get keyboard entry to a plugin. The filter circuit selectors are exposed as an automatable parameter, so if you DAW can let you control it then you can use a midi controller to change them.
*[edit - ignore this] What do you think about having a link button to lock both the HP and LP freq? I was trying to do some knotch filtering and I thought it would be nice to have them linked.
*Do you have any plans for implementing undo/redo actions? My filter-fu is not so good

Yep, great idea to add little arrows to those guys, mouse wheel currently works but buttons would also be good.nori.lam wrote: *I was wondering if you could add some small selection arrows beside the filter names to allow clicking through the filter types (see mockup-sorry its not so nice looking). Undo/Redo is planned, as is Midi Learn, program change support, and better preset browsing and searching. There are quite a few people waiting on a VST3 version, so I would like to tackle that first, but I'll see if how many of those features I can fit into the next release.

I also asked for filter type toggle buttons a few months back. Would really enhance the workflow when using a controller, and make The Drop even better! Hope you can sneak it in soon.andy-cytomic wrote:Yep, great idea to add little arrows to those guys, mouse wheel currently works but buttons would also be good.nori.lam wrote: *I was wondering if you could add some small selection arrows beside the filter names to allow clicking through the filter types (see mockup-sorry its not so nice looking). Sweet! i find the mouse takes a few 'clicks' on the scroll and hard to skip just 1 filter type.andy-cytomic wrote: Yep, great idea to add little arrows to those guys, mouse wheel currently works but buttons would also be good.
The all would be welcomed additions, so happy codingandy-cytomic wrote: Undo/Redo is planned, as is Midi Learn, program change support, and better preset browsing and searching.
I have a question regarding host syncing the LFO's. I use Live 9.2 and have noticed that the LFO is not in sync when I start/stop the transport.
Am I missing an option or is there a way to have it restart with the transport?

I had a small glitch/bug. I had the Drop set as a drum gate using ENV1 in trig mode. For some reason it would miss the first hit upon a new play, i.e. if I loop the this hit it opens up, but if I hit stop and then play it would miss the first time.
Never noticed this before.

Thanks for spotting this, I'll have a look. Can you please email me so I can keep a track of things better? Should be easy fixed.meloco_go wrote:I had a small glitch/bug.
