Before you guys pick prizes, real quick 10 person mini vote: Reply with Yea (Bblunt's votes should be accepted), Nay (not accepted, let's just carry on)

Bbluntproductions' votes were removed as his posts were under 40. However, Richard Semper just reminded me that bbluntprodutions was previously shortmanb! His old and new account posts > 40. The rule states "Voters must have had 40 prior forum posts" which seems to suggest to me it is legit.

The top 5 winners will be the same, but different order.

I'll start first and say Yay

Yea from me

Post

Yay...who cares! ;)
Uh...are those the results that would be, if his vote got accepted?
If so... Yay to Rich and me, we've got the 4th most amounts of points! :hyper:

Post

Would be yea from me since the nicknames BbluntProductions and shortmanb belong to the same person who posted >40 times. Cause my ranking within the top 5 would improve, in all fairness, my opinion here should not be included in the final decision

Post

Yay from me.

Post

Bblunt/shortmanb has been a regular here as long as Iv'e been OSCing...so with that + the 40 combined posts a Yea seems appropriate.

Post

Yea from me.

And also yay for last place, I guess the title of my song had something to with that :D

I think it's the only reason you beat me out. :D

WTF??? Top 5? Haha, totally unexpected! Great many thanks to everybody! Thunderstorm took out Internet here so this was a nice surprise when it came back.

This goes to show how hard it is sometimes to assess the quality of your own music. I truly couldn't tell wether this was crap or not and I had a few other ideas I thought about developing and adding but didn't have the time. Possibly it worked to my advantage as I have a tendency to overcomplicate my tracks... :) Perhaps it's just all about the bass :D

So again, thanks ! And congrats to the rest of the top five and everyone else for the great work with Mantra!

As for bblunt's vote, I abstain since I guess I'm affected, but inofficially think it should count.

Very nice tunes to listen! :phones: Big respecta and congrats to the winners!

Nope, not crap. In fact, when I first heard your track, it was after soundcloud had been playing me random "similar songs" or whatever for a while, and I was doing other stuff, not paying much attention to what I was hearing... then your track came on and I thought "wow this is awesome, what is this? soundcloud must be playing me 'real' songs now." But no! It was your song, not a real song at all! (j/k about 'real' songs, but you know what I mean lol)
So yeah thought I should share that lil story and my convoluted attempt at a compliment.
What I'm trying to say is :tu:

Congratulations Syntax Project - a clear win, head and shoulders above the rest, and an awesome track in any OSC! :hail:
Congratulations also to mehum, mcaitch, meakaale and bjporter, so close... only one point between you all! :)
Many thanks to Brian again for all your hard work keeping this competition together. :tu:
Looking forward now to having a go in the next :D
