Without second thoughts: Plugin of the year! It seems a new era has begun, in the box compression that can rival classic analog outboard. Reminds me of expensive hardware compression with serious mojo, and we get 3 in 1 for only 24€. Unreal! I hope Tony sells 10000+ copies of this, and i'm sure that will happen. Also: no crappy dongle or dodgy serial protection scheme needed. Support this 1 man company, so we can get more killer goodies in the future

Some companies could learn a thing or two from Tony. What can i say more...

just my thoughts:

i have been looking for compressor that suits my needs/works as expected
for a long while
and MJUC just nails it:

the interface is perfectly clear and follows convention - i profoundly dyslexic and the layout/colour/contrast etc is spot on at 125%
turn the compression up and it compresses...
properly
the extra controls all make sense and function as expected
it glues
it tightens
it loosens
it squashes and flattens
it clears space in a mix and densifies
it can be tuned to focus in on and bring out parts of a complex mix or pull frequencies/transients back
and the icing on the cake:
it is tonally "correct" - not in a transparent/surgical way, but in that it is musical in its artefacts

Reaper problems. When the plug is inserted in bypass or not work it produces an excessive increase in CPU consumption. Win 7 32 bit. Greetings!

Fantastic work Tony. Beautiful plug-in.

As I said on another thread, I'm hugely grateful for developers like yourself who make such outstanding plug-ins at such accessible prices. I've been unemployed for a while now and so the 'big gun' plugs I used to spunk loads of money on are currently out of my reach. I've had so much more than £29's worth of enjoyment from the brilliant DC8C and SDRR. Anything less than a blind insta-buy would have felt rude.

Was not a fan of the past Klanghelm plugins, but this MJUC is really something amazing. Awesome compressor and very accurate even if you just want to use it as a virtual preamp.

I can't believe how deep this plugin is. You can really use it as a "shaper" without ever seeing the gain reduction meter even move. I highly recommend testing the mk3 version in this way. Set density on, interstage transformer on, then crank up the drive to betweem 7 and 10 and set the input calibration as desired (I usually end up in between -10 and 0, depending on signal type and how loud it is).

Once you've done this, start playing around with the punch slider thing.. and also with the attack and release knobs if you happen to get a tiny amount of compression going. Also don't forget the timbre knob.

My point is: This thing is deep like crazy! You can transform the dynamics and overall timbre of a track in very subtle ways even without having the gain reduction meter move at all. This is exactly how a lot of complex analogue equipment works. A lot of things happen to the transients at the various stages of the unit. They can be a bit tricky to hear at first but once you "get it" you can start using this thing for so much more than just compression.

Just used MKII on a session for vocals. This thing is SEXY!!! I have to take a cold shower now. Seriously, really rocks on vocals. Have to try other sources and 2 buss but I have to agree with all here, Tony is absolutely brilliant and just as generous. Thank you for this!

This should be in the official Quickstart Manual.
