Well, i quite agree about this (i.e. I understand the value of its simplicity), but separately out for each of his main A\B\C\D layer it would be quite logical. I think it would will not spoil his good minimalism.

Multi-outs would be nice, but it really is nice as it is.

It sounds class I love the filters and redux. Would love a BP an HP tho'. :)

It would be cool also if there was automatic mapping of the samples (for example according to filename or something like that, it's bit tedious now if you have lot of multisamples) .. But I'm happy too with it as it is, just some ideas for future versions :)
circuit modeling and 0-dfb filters are cool

Yeah, so I caved. It's a TAL Product and I guess we can expect a lot of regular updates like with his other products. Better to get in at the intro price in this case imho.

What I've read of the Manual so far is clearly laid out.

I find the preset loading quite slow. Just as well the Libraries are only tiny.

Hello everyone!

There's a free 1.2 GB soundbank for TAL Sampler available HERE, consisting of old Hollow Sun samples (actually freebies that Steve put up for hardware Akai samplers back in the day) - Thanks to fmr for conversion and preset design! :tu:

Awesome, thanks guys! :tu:
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

Used TAL sampler on this simple gritty industrial groove. Other instruments used were Sonic Charge Typhoon & Waldorf PPG Wave 3.v. The entire thing was made in Bitwig, then exported and mixed in Harrison Mixbus3.

I really like the jitter function on the resampler to make things sound worse in a very interesting way.

It's already been said, but to further stress the issue: With more presets becoming available (Thanks Hollow Sun!) it's really becoming a drag to load them. Unless you want to scroll through a bank in order with the arrows, actually loading them feels like endless clicking menu-diving just to get one preset loaded.

Love the instrument but this could be hugely improved! Even just getting to the presets menu itself feels like it takes more clicking than it should...

For OSX users this might help. It works for me so i don't have to manually drag and drop the patches in.

Create this Location for your factory & hollowsun patch folders.
User/library/audio/presets/Togu Audio Line/Factory Presets

It should look Like this

Now open your DAW and start TAL sampler

Now lets show TAL sampler where to load the presets from and point it to the folder we just created.

*Hit ok after you selected it in the browser and you should be good to go*

Now if you click the left or right arrows it should load the next or previous patch in the folders.

They still need to implement a proper patch browser so you can see all the patches at a glance in the chosen directory, it would make it much easier to preview stuff. Something like NI Massive has would be ideal imo.

Hope this helps some people.

It would have been nice if the audio browser was customizable. So that one coudl change font size, font and background colors.

Especially useful for people wiht low vision.

The options to change colors are there, the GUI is resizable.

What do you want it to look like if you don't think it looks nice? Could you do a better job?
Then maybe get on it and share your creation instead of griping about it ;)

Yes you cna change colors of the GUI. But I don't think you cna customize the audio broser. And I don't think you can change the font size.
Such an option would ve very appreciated. :-)
