So I am all setup, I have my DAW, tons of MIDI, tons of Presets for Sylenth, Massive, Zebra and Nexus. I even have tons of breakdown FLP files.
However what I am missing is a general structure of a progressive or uplifting trance track. I know many songs dont follow a general rule, but for a noob like me I want to know like a kind of recipe that tells me
which sound go first, when to start the bass, when to start the pluck or lead, etc,
Maybe am I asking too much, but need more help in the general trance song structure.
I am willing to invest if there is any tutorial on that aspect.

Whatever happened to actually learning how to play and compose music BEFORE assembling an entire freakin recording studio in one's bedroom? Can someone give me a link to a tutorial with a simple recipe so I can make my own songs like Beethoven? Kids these days...

To sum it up:

I'd also suggest you learn a little bit about Gestalt and figure-ground organization and consider the implications those concepts could have on your composition if put to use deliberately.

generally work from a minor key....and listen to your fav trance songs.......the best way is to listen to other songs you like...and dont just listen and then say ok i get how to do it...you acutally have to get dirty and technically go through it....your not listening for enjoyment anymore it's for analytical purposese....
