You are extremely quick/rapid as usual - hats off

But, as usual too, I'm sorry to say that this improved beta didn't resolve all problems mentioned above. Or, put it more exactly, the most annoying bug is still alive: "after saving a new composition with several Phrase Containers added, re-opened (saved) file contains only the first phrase" (citing myself for clarity). In fact, I really wonder why it happens again, 'cause I am under the illusion that you should check it yourself first of all before posting new beta version

And now is time for some good news - 1) velocity problem seems to disappear; 2) I could tell for sure now that random button works as it supposed to work

The final/unrelated to new PhC question (till next beta comes): is there the least chance of getting that "extracted rhythm" multitrack feature in the future?

Problems continued ... That's right,

I already reported that after some time, the program begins to slow down and eventually stops responding to the manipulation of a mouse (sometimes, after saving the composition, everything comes back to normal)

I found the following:
In Activity Monitor I found EXTREM high values -
Idle Wake Ups = 2500-3500/4500
Energie Impact = 120-130
Given that launched Ni Maschine
= 49 and = 7.5 respectively
Perhaps the problem in power consumption Programme (But of course I'm no expert in this)Even I attach a log file!

Attila! I accidentally switched track from General MIDI in SF ... That I have not done a long time ago ...
Real time recording works great!
But in General Midi instrument MIDI recording displays the note in a compressed form in the first quarter of the first bar, and somehow wrong ...And the record goes on one track, despite the inclusion an option "to start recording a new track"
This only applies to real-time recording, but playback of phrases or midi file is good! For any driver instrument

I think the following occurs:
In the beta program memory leaks, but in the Activity Monitor, I could not notice it, because the system will try to kill "blank streams" which do nothing but take up memory. My guess: a memory leak is growing exponentially, the system tries to turn off flows, because the program hangs. Something somewhere in the program looped (recursive functions, loops).

This works perfectly in beta3... Did you run 2.92b2 by chance?

Yes, definitely, although not in the next few weeks. This is a great idea, and I already figured out the details, but now RC undergoes big changes and I need at least 4-6 weeks for that, maybe more. Thank you for your patience!

yes, this is a known issue. If you use MIDI only, you can disable audio entirely, so the Idle Wake Ups value will be normal.

The system cannot fix memory leaks. If the program consumes memory that must be seen in the Activity Monitor. I loaded OS X 10.9 and started loop playback in RC LE v2.92b3. Other than a very small increase in memory usage I could not find a serious issue. However I realized with horror that clicking on a tab does not update the UI!??? This works most of the time, but sometimes not! If I resize the window, the UI is updated but not after clicking on a tab. Stupid OS X! I am really fed up with that.

What do you do to make the program consume more memory? Can you 'Sample Process' when RC hangs? I used this beta on OS X 10.9 for hours without issues (except the mentioned annoyance).

Yes, I noted this bug about 3 days ago when I found the same issue. The reason is that when you use MIDI only the time base (which is usually the same as the audio sample rate) is set to 1000000 internally because the sequencer uses microseconds. MIDI recording probably uses the sample rate instead of 1000000 and it makes notes "compressed". I will fix this bug today.
EDIT: it is fixed now.

Well...definitely I run the latest beta - I even downloaded it again 15 minutes ago (just in case). And immediately made a super-rapid test to check that "saving feature" one more time.
As you could see next (by eyeballing on two snaps/pictures attached below), there are "some strange differences" between those pictures

snap1 is before saving, snap 2 - after immediate re-opening of that file + test project in archive.

Even if I saved and loaded 6 phrase containers successfully, you won

. There is a problem with loading the composition file that you uploaded (thanks!!!) which I am investigating right now.

+ Just in case, I could specify, that the "saving problem" is not with those particular phrases used inside PhC in "test project" (there I just randomly put some phrases from the latest yelluhan's collection - Pi_(6-8)_OEKid_PianoBits_(6-8)), but with ANY of several thousand phrases which I have in my "Pandora collection"

Thanks to Tolstoevsky, the Phrase Container saving/loading bug was fixed today.
The latest beta version (v2.92b4) should work well now. Also it contains the fix for the MIDI recording bug reported by lulukom.

No, no and NO!
All delays and brakes stayed (between tabs and tracks I can not switch) Real-time recording changed a bit, but I played others rhythmic figures ... Video I can do only after the weekend!
