Definitely looks a lot better with those flat controls. Those pseudo 3D elements are really not very clear. But yeah, +1 to the bad space usage on the UI in general. Especially now the drop down menus are used the space could be used much better.

Anyway this is the edit I'll be using until a real skinner creates a new skin:

That is the one I meant by SEM skin :hihi: It looks tidier and calmer, not least because those fat scale bars are almost invisible. It is the "best" PA skin I have seen so far.

I agree that without those giant selector dials, the space seems to be used very unevenly, there are almost "holes" in it.
The whole GUI is almost rectangular, which is not so good.

In terms of functionality, is it possible to propagate osc, env or whatever settings to another osc, env or whatever respectively? Might come in handy at times...

And another one based on my Knobman files from the 1st skin i posted, this time a grey background with black knobs + switches:

Why do the knobs have rough edges?

Those are based on the "Übermod" sytle knobs but i could add round edges in short time (with the "Emboss" feature in Knobman). As already mentioned once you got the right Knobman files (which i created for the first skin) you could do lost of changes. I had also done metallic knobs that look like e.g. Copper, Brass or Aluminium. Just had to load the corresponding style at JKnobMan.

I just could not change the knobs or swictes sizes as this would need another calibration of the knob positions (had dome that for each one seperately while with Beta 3 there is a new offset feature to make it easier).

UPDATE:
Just added slightly rounded edges (using the "Emboss" feature in Knobman) to the black knobs (big + small ones) at the grey skin posted above. The screenshot was updated now.

Even better.

Maybe make the LEDs light blue instead of yellow?

How big is the GUI in pixels by pixels? Just wondering because of the size of those screenshots...

If you open the screenshot in a new tab at your browser you should see the real size. Resolution of that GUI should be 884 x 768 pixels.

Strange, it is 1112 pixels wide, and since it is so huge I can't even measure the height as the keyboard is below my monitor, like the real one :hihi:

Yes for me too.. :(

So I hope some graphics genius will make a skin that completely fits on my screen..

The current style, layout and knobs are not a problem for me, but the size is
