THANKS NORBZ!! The Windows x64 version works great (tested on S1v2 and Cubase v7.5, so far), and the per instance CPU usage really is nominal (3% to 5% each stock, 100% reverb adds another 1% to 2% cpu and sounds nice). Also, the sample file is only ~460 Mb, which is very reasonable considering the crazy variety of sounds here (almost 100 sample presets + 3 full set maps). I really like the X-Bass samples, especially in the sub registers (X-Bass-3 could probably rattle a window out of its frame).

If you're reading this post after the initial release. AtmosFire is an awesome tool for the intended purpose ...BUY IT!!

Got it -- sounds great! But... the samples are all playing kinda low, and the Transpose doesn't seem to have any effect. I can easily counter that with the transpose button on my MIDI controller, but I thought you should know.

That's odd. When I load an instance, the gain is set to almost 75% on every preset and it's plenty loud (-6 dB peak). The transpose works fine for me too (S1v2 x64, Windows 8.1 x64), although it's kind of subtle and not very useful for some of the presets (e.g., the ones that build).

@Norbz - Is it possible to have the knobs return to default on double click (or another modifier)?

Thanks guys,

Some points I've discovered.

1. The transpose doesn't seem to work on MACs only for some reason.

2. There is currently no way to bring the knobs back to default sans loading/reloading a new instance, I'm using a tool to build these vs native C++ from scratch for now, thus the limitations - hopefully future versions will facilitate the above.

@Filkerton, the GAIN knob (the smaller one to the right of the main volume), you can turn that to the left for a mashback gain if 100% main volume isn't enough (though watch out it distorts after a while. That distortion though sounds amazing on the bass/lowend elements, if you can control the redline dynamically you'll get a nice grunge). Glad you can work around the transpose locally too.
