Same DSP doesn't mean the same code :dog:
Does that make it clearer for you?

After mucking around with it I can say it is a great deal better than it was on my iPod/iPad. :love:

Definite +++++++++ here :tu:

I have to say on my iPad 3, this Amplitube sounds terrible. I get a loud uncontrollable squelching feedback that makes it 100% unusable. On my iPad mini this is not a problem. Same settings on both.

Thanks, glad you are enjoying the improvement. Works very well on my iPad 3 so I'm sure any specific issues reported above can be sorted out.

I'm reviving an old thread, I know, but @Peter - IK Multimedia, I just reinstalled amplitube yesterday to my iPad and bought the ampeg bass amps. I've been using my iPad live as my amp for a few months now, really going through the other amp apps, finding the little things I like and don't like about each in terms of sound. When I tried that b-15 with the dual mics last night, I was absolutely blown away. It has a really rich sound, very "alive." And the envelope filter really speaks (need that for "cant stop the feeling" these days on gigs), which I can't get others to do. I'm looking forward to trying it on my gigs this weekend.

Do you know if there are any plans to increase the bass focused choices in the future in the ios version? A bass specific graphic eq, distortion and compressor would definitely be cool things to have.

I also noticed that this is the only guitar app that switches presets instantly without sound dropouts (even with ultra low latency and over sampling running on iPad air1), which is very important for live work.

If anyone at ik wants to hear some of my ideas to make guitar apps even better for live work, I'm happy to share. ;-)

But, the short version? Incredible job, I'm really glad I reinstalled the app!
