If I delete an un-purchased plug-in Tracktion 5 closes (crashes). I use a 2011 MacBook Pro with 8BG memory.
When I use/delete a plugin that I have purchased it does not crash.
Any Ideas please?

What do you mean by "un-purchased", Richard? Do you mean a demo or something warezed?
If you are using a demo then it will be a good idea to post at the Tracktion forum or the plug-in dev's forum what the problem is.
Be sure to include your system spec's and a detailed explanation of what takes place. A "how-to replicate" is always a good idea when trying to resolve these kinds of issues.
If you mean a pirated piece of software then there are no guarantees and it will be a good idea to get rid of it completely and not use such software.
You never know what is contained in that download.
The general consensus around KVR is "Buy the software you use".
Now, I do not intend to be accusatory or imply anything by my post. It's strictly an FYI and attempt to assist you and expand your knowledge.
Cheers!

I took it as "remove an instance" opposed to an actual delete as you and I would know one TCC.thecontrolcentre wrote:You probably shouldn't be deleting plugins with your DAW open (if I've understood you properly). Do any VST deleting before you open Tracktion.
But, yes, if one is deleting a VST from one's system, one should not have an instance running in the DAW at the same time.
Cheers!

By 'un-purchased' I assumed the OP was referring to plugins from the Tracktion Marketplace, not warez or anything.
But no idea anyway, probably a question for their support.
