Sorry, but i am really pissed by such comments....
Last but not least if you do not like my skins, Poly-Ana and/or my person just pass and do not post stuppid comments like this

So you only want positive comments ? You're in the wrong place then.

I am open for discussions while there are also limits for those (as i have my own mind concerning certain things...). I am open for hints about things that could be easily solved while another complete re-design that needs editing the positions again is not what i am after att he moment. Aynway if only shifting a few controls is involved it could be OK.

Anyway such stupid posts like that from rasmusklump are just BS IMO. Sorry i have to be that harsh again.

Besides that of course i like positive comments more than the others. That's quite normal i guess.

As i just mentioned small changes in the knob positions (no complete re-ddesign): One idea is to shift the "12 dB/Oct" and "LPF/HPF" buttons up to the Cutoff knob and make both labels slightly bigger.
I gues it is maybe enough to call this "12 dB" and "HPF" (those are the values when the LED is on).

Those changes should be possible without changing the overall size of the filter section.

Some more logical rearrangement of the controls in the LFOs could be possible too. This and a small change in the filters do not seem to take much time and work (compared to a complete re-arrangement/-adjustment of all controls).

In the OSC i alraedy rearranged most of the knobs and switches/buttons and increased the size of the PW knob.

Last but not least the current fonts in both the background and in Knobman are maybe not perfect yet so those could be optimized too.

I still don't think you're getting the point. It's not "knob positions" that are the problem with your skins it's the fact that they look cheap and toyish.

Can I do better ? No. But I know I can't do better so I don't bother and if I kept posting screenshot after screenshot of cheap toyish looking skins I'd expect to get negative comments....and a lot of them.

If you like these skins that's fine but if you keep posting them here expect to keep getting negative comments. Those comments are not "stupid" or "BS".

I am sorry but since yeras you were attacking me in multiple threads at KVR. At some point (not just in this thread) i failed to take you opinions really serious. IMO like with Kriminal i do think this is more a personal thing than anything else.
Like with him i guess i could post whatever i want here and you never would admit that it is good.
Maybe you are overrating the importance of your opinions a bit but i could be wrong....

For the 100th time: I do not claim that my designs are the "best" (and i did not mention that those are actually "final" yet) but i am quite sure that they are not as bad as some of those comments of you and some others might imply.

I could have gone the "easy way" by just modifying existing versions of the Poly-Ana skins (those that were supposed to be "good" whatever that means) but i wanted to go with my own approach and my own arrnagement of the sections and controls.
Finding the f´perfect design for this is another story but i for sure (!!) improved in that respect since my first skins i posted here.

PS:
That's enough about having to justify myself (again...). I will not repeat the same things endlessly. At some point this (and i do not mean my skins!!) becomes ridiculous.

Man you just keep living in denial. I don't know if it's ego or ignorance but you just don't get it.....Nobody is "attacking" you it's your horrid skins that are the subject of the negative comments. You can hide behind "ooooh people are just picking on me poor Ingo" but if you posted a skin just like Hoverland's you would be receiving just as much praise for the work as he is....and if Hoverland posted skins like yours then he would be getting the same negative comments.

Yes they really are that bad. Look at Hoverland's...now look at yours...now look at Hoverland's...now look at yours....Sinking in yet ? No I doubt it.......... :?

Anyway keep posting screenshots. Just don't throw a tantrum and call people's posts "stupid" and "BS" when they don't shower you with praise.........

While they are mostly nice oin their own respect so far none of the designs i have seen fits to what i consider as "perfect" and i am not just talking about nice graphics!! Until this changes (maybe when Limeflavour releases his skin...) i will keep going with my own one.

The point is that even if it maybe is not pefect yet it is m OWN skin. That could make a big difference...

I am quite sure that once it is "finished" (if that is possible) it hardly looks like the default skin while there is already a big difference with my current ones.

Anyway to get back on topic......Where are all those people who said over the years that "Poly-Ana is a great synth but I won't buy it because of the GUI" ?

Admiral Quality put a lot of work into allowing user skinning which is a request that has been made time after time over the years.

We now have at least one high quality, non 3D tilted skin and I imagine there will be more over time.

So how about downloading the demo and giving Poly-Ana a chance once again and consider buying now ?

*Disclaimer* I am in no way affiliated with AQ. Just a long time Poly-Ana owner and fan. I'd like to see Poly-Ana grow even further and more sales can only help make that happen............ :tu:

Forget. Now that you mentioned it, I remembered to take a look at the junk (I have to login with the browser to do that), and the e-mail was there :)

Now, let's make Poly-Ana act like full version :)
