Hi,

Is there something you can do so Rhino won't freeze the audio in my sequencer when changing presets ?

It is freezing for something like 1 second, and then comes back in the beat.

This is very annoying for Live performances. That means that if you plan to use Rhino on stage and plan to change a preset well... forget about it !

I tested it in Energy XT and Ableton Live 4.

Thanks,

Yannick

At this moment; not really. The best solution is to let the envelopes reach their zero point before changing presets; then there is no annoying noise or disruptions. Remember that Rhino has to change about a thousand parameters in an instant!

If your master keyboard can transmit on different MIDI channels per preset (ie. program #1 transmits on MIDI channel 4 and #2 transmits on MIDI ch 5 etc...) create two instances of Rhino in your host assigned to different MIDI channels. When your controller changes Presets the first Rhino will fade to silence and you can play the second Rhino.

In the meantime, I'll keep bugging 'Tick to improve this.

Thanks Daniel. Your workaround for playing live is a good idea.
