It's not Sylenth3 as in Dune vs Dune 2.

It's Sylenth 1 v3, just as you can have Dune 2 v4.x etc etc

Same thing is FM7 vs FM8 from NI

hahaha... good one :D :D :D

It's still Sylenth 1 though, in a new version, native 64bit. No new features, no new engine, etc. So this makes sense. Maybe it'd have been enough to go to version 2.3, since it is not a huge upgrade. But it's still Sylenth 1.

If I remember right they work on Sylenth 2 (in version 1.0.0 I guess, or less ;) ). But that's another story :hihi:

I don't know about it.

But a real Sylenth2 must be more than a mere facelift update.

Dune 2, Spire (soon Spire 2) and Serum (not really a VA) are practically killing it sound wise.

They don't.

Where did you get the info about Spire 2?
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

... and feature wise, by miles...

Not sure about Spire 2 though, they're working on version 1.1 atm, which still lacks some features, so i doubt version 2 is anywhere near.

The sounds are different. I wouldn't say they kill Sylenth. But the features in Sylenth need a major uplift :D

But that's not going to happen with Sylenth1, maybe with Sylenth2, if and when it happens ;)

I love the sound. A facelift and a proper browser are all I want. I won't buy it without a proper browser or search function at least.

It's not "Sylenth® 1". It's "Sylenth1®". Nothing silly. Example:

Didn't Depeche Mode already sung about it, "Enjoy the Sylenth"

Well... in this case I guess "A Question of Time" would be more appropriate... 8)

Gee, the contrast on the new GUI is worse than with the old one, and those Liberace knobs make it hard to see the position of the markers.

I only hope that the contrast issue is due to poor screenshot image quality, else I will skip that update.

The black skin looks promising, though.

Give your patches reasonable names and you don't need a browser and search feature :hihi:

No idea why people are complaining about the browser all the time. I like it the way it is. Ctrl-Alt-L and I am right in my preset folder...

One customer lost.

From the screenshot you can tell that there will be no new browser whatsoever.
