My weekly source of new music. The quality of the releases is not very consistent, but at least it is guaranteed that there will be no mainstream copy-paste stuff, like Tesseract/Iono.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

yeah, consistency is a little all over the place, but i think thats more a function of the sheer volume of material. plus also i think that it boils down to personal taste more than quality. theres lots of stuff there i personally dont care for, but not because i think its "bad", its just not for me.recursive one wrote:+1chaosWyrM wrote:more free legal music than you can shake a stick at...and very high quality to boot.

Well, quality maybe not the right word. Overall, Ektoplazm seems to be leaning towards more experimental side of psytrance and related genres, and some stuff distributed there just makes me wonder if the artist has intentionally decided to express him/herself in such a way or is just unable to make more, well, accessible music (i guess it is the common place of understanding any experimental/avant-garde art). Some other releases just sounded like someone has put together a bunch of presets and samples over a basic beat and called it a day...
Still, a very valuable resourse. I have discovered many really interesting acts via Ektoplazm.

I finally upgraded to Premium, but I've been a follower of DI for years. This is *the* place to find electronic music. New channels are introduced as new electronic genres evolve. They stream live performances of famous DJ from around the world.
And it's free. You can even log in with Facebook or Google+

I use Bandcamp all the time. I've discovered Electrocado with the site:
