Do you also spell Bobby Owsinski as Bobby Owinski? Little wonder, aye? Caught red-handed, you leetl pank!
You only caught yourself beeing stupid. Check out the LennarDigital forum here on KVR and you will find a post from Ruben stating Lennard has no problem with skinning.
It was his big "Avicii bought a copy and then got a reskinned version after" announcement.
Only because he was stupid enough to also copy over the license file included with his ' skin' download.
Wrong source for a skin download i'd say. I would never download a skinned dll myself.
Just give me the bitmaps and I'll make my own changes to the files.
(Just like how Lance's skin is distributed - bitmaps only)

A simple FM knob would be a great addition.... :(

Who needs an FM knob when there are countless online radio stations? :ud:

Yes, that'd be great...

For the love of groovyness add swing to the ARP already.

This synth is what, almost a decade old now? Has a single feature ever actually been added? Is there any point making requests at all?

Post

I'm sure they always have an ear open for feature requests. Otherwise they wouldn't have added skinability, improved the sound engine, and improved the default GUI.

But the Sylenth arp is a pretty fast guitar player, although not a very good one, yet :hihi:

Seems they will introduce a new protection, too (C/R and hopefully not invasive, modelled on U-he antipiracy systems).

fluffy_little_something wrote:Yes, it is pretty good the way it is. Not too primitive, not too complex. And it sounds good. I would not mind certain additions, but I am sure LD already has a to-do list for the future. If someone needs Wavetable or whatever, they should get another synth. Sylenth is old-skool VA.

There is some odd nostalgic charm about it that I just don't feel with Dune, nor Hive, which I am selling...
We've reached a really odd time when nostalgia can be felt for a 9 year old piece of software.

He needs to amend that. "LennarDigital is a no longer young company that developed a cool little synth plug-in and then really didn't do anything for the next decade."
