Processing a little impro I played with the VSL extended violin library, doubling the solo with a synth lead playing 2 octaves below. Both instruments are processed by the same two instances of Kaleidoscope using a tuning file in the tonality of the impro (basically a six-voiced chord). The involved KS presets/tuning files/images are from the upcoming subscription set no. 6.

Three Kaleidoscope presets from subscription set no. 6 processing various sound sources like stereo-phased ocean waves and spring drum accents. The involved raw images (before preparation for KS) are provided by NASA, the tuning files involved use a scale I invented, which changes the tonality in the second octave and then repeats.

Here comes a little morning jam, the bass and the drums each have a dedicated instance of Kaleidoscope processing them, using similar tempo-synced presets.

Improvising with a granular duduk patch from my sound library Granular Symphonies, processing the impro with 2 instances of Kaleidoscope using presets from the upcoming set no. 7, some Photosounder noise is also fed into Kaleidoscope to create a tonal background bed.

Here comes the release info for set no. 7:

Kaleidoscope Subscription Set 07, uploaded on September 14th - 2015 containing:

*67 Presets
*49 images
*7 tuning files
*3 waveforms
*2 input samples (Photosounder noise scapes)

The subscription currently contains: 442 presets - 275 images - 43 tuning files - 30 waveforms.

The subscription price was raised by a whopping € 3 EUR and is now € 53.

Stepping though some presets from the Kaleidoscope subscription set no, 08 - alternating sounds in two instances of Kaleidoscope using modulated noise as input source, a stick cello waveform as tuning file and rose images from our balcony (and a pumpkin at the end of the video).
