Not really! This one's more petal than metel. It's an antidote to my getting too serious and artistic - lyrics without depth, bar one line:

A SUGARY POP SONG

I recently posted a tune here and received a great deal of advice - thanks again. :D
I'm still working on that piece, but attempted to apply the KvR wisdom to this one, not sure if I'm progressing much, but am enjoying myself nonetheless.

 Ah pop, sachryn all the way.

I could see Dick Clark nodding his head to this one while Suzy and Rob do the pony on camera.

Excellent arrangement and lots of interesting sounds, bears up to multiple listens. A guilty pleasure.

You could compress the vocal a bunch and it would work better than just raising the level.

Its a keeper. :D

Soft Cell meets Iggy Pop? I enjoyed it. :)

Thanks
Soft Cell meets Iggy Pop?
Wow! I feel validated, or does that mean I'm attempting something I shouldn't?

I'll take a look at vocal compression, thanks PawPawPatch. BTW, I checked out your excellent 'Suzie Sways' track at sectionz (what a confusing place!), anyway am I allowed to download it or do I have to subscibe? I'd like to play it at work.

That should be the basis of making music; I liked the comparison that Shane opted there, but I personally saw Robbert Palmer when listening to this. I guess the comparisons are more to give the music a bit more place. The only thing I would suggest is to keep going ahead on the path of making music and enjoying it :)

A very much enjoyed tune :D

Thanks, I like to think that this applies to everything I do, plus I aim to take two steps to the left before setting out. :D

I like the idea of odd influences personally.
