It was supposed to be an open beta(I'm sure I read that on this forum), but even now on the 4th version only a select few people have it. Apparently adding a few more of us dedicated fans/forum members would cause a massive influx of bug reports... :?

The un-official answer is: you don't.
if you are worthy and lucky maybe you can get an invite to join the cave... ;)
Please don't spread misleading information, Regnas.

As pointed out several times: The beta gets extended in waves, based on the volume of feedback we get.
First, the premiere badge holders will be included (the customers who received the badge for buying Bitwig Studio within the first week after the release) until in the end all Bitwig Studio license owners can download and test it.

Cheers,
Dom

but u constantly add features into it, so seemingly it will be remained in closed-beta state forever, Bitwig 1.1.x is generally working superb only the the groupings missing from it, can't be it(the grouping) put alone into the 1.1.x branch or can't be the other features disabled and released it only with the groupings as 1.1.999.1  or a public beta only with the groupings or ... just sending me a beta key :D ?

Yay, me too! So excited!

Post

Sorry if this is posted somewhere else, but is there any new features I should be testing regarding the Push script with 1.2, or is it pretty much just testing compatibility?

Any reason why we cannot re-size metaclips when grouping tracks ??? I thought i saw it being re-sized in earlier versions of 1.2 ? And nothing in the manual about groups either.....

Mac OSX 10.10.5.

first bug i found, unless i'm doing something wrong:

did a 'bounce in place' of an XY Instrument.
saving projects works as it should but 'collect and save' doesn't.
no file gets saved to the project folder.
it gets placed OUTSIDE the project folder in a 'bounce' folder. see screenshot.
the top folder is the project folder, the highlighted one is where the bounced files get saved to after 'collect all and save'.

Hard to believe this one got by the previous testors;

Cannot audition or drag and drop MIDI files -> Reported.

This worked in v1.1.7.

Audio files audition and D&D fine.

Anyone else having D&D problems on Windows?

Cheers!
