Other users or George: How does this parameter morph works. Is it works with aftertouch or how it works.
Have some problem to understand the idea ;)
Thx in advance

Video tutorial for this I know :) but basically you have two values: normal and morph. You push MORPH button then set the new knob value. It will move from that range based on the MIDI velocity slider below.

Hello George

I've just bought it an hour ago (by upgrade from my HighLife license).

My first impression here will not be about the sound (I haven't tried it deep enough) but about the GUI. As soon as I have seen the demo I have said loud:

"It is the GUI I have always dreamed of for the safe of my eyes !!! This tool is clearly thought in the focus to be 100% readable for everybody including eyesight impaired persons ! I WANT IT !!!"

George, for the GUI of Discovery Pro and for the GUI of Bliss you should get the gold medal of the most readable GUIs !

Of course I don't talk about artistic aspects of your GUI (but I'm happy, my best appeal is for the minimalist GUIs) but especially about the accent you put on the readability since Discovery Pro and confirmed here with Bliss!

That's exactly what Highlife did which annoyed me to no end. I guess it still does that. Hope that get's changed.

Thank you thank your :) I'm also very proud of Corona GUI, it took years to perfect and right now has matured into one of the best synths available (in my biased opinion) :)

This should be covered on Beta 2.

Agreed! Even for people who aren't seeing impaired, this giant and easily accessible GUI makes this instrument a breeze to use. I think the reason software samplers killed hardware ones is because you have a screen that's 10x the size, and Bliss takes advantage of this more than just about any other. I think you'll need to add features if you want it to be taken seriously as more than just a VSTi replacer and I hope you are able to retain this aspect of it.

I think the GUI is amazing, very modern, good job on that.
Very nice feature set and sampling VST instruments is a killer feature.
I just really don't need a sampler plugin like this atm... or do I?

Thanks, we're on it ;) I'd recommend to leave your bugs/suggestions at our Bliss forum too http://www.discodsp.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=8

Weird, could you fill a bug at http://www.discodsp.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=8 with your system details? Send crash log at bliss@discodsp.com with a link to the Bliss forum bug. Thank you.

I've been waiting a long time for something like this. It seems to have a hardware sound and feel that I've been looking for in software. The FX and the filters are HQ to my ears, and man....they're extremely usable. Would be nice to have start and end points on the sample slices so the samples don't play beyond the slice points. A trigger gate, AHD envelope or sample hold function would be great for triggering drum samples and one-shots. A much needed feature is the ability to audition samples in the import sample browser. Should be able to hear a sample before importing.

Very impressed so far, and can't wait to see what it evolves into. Hopefully, something can be done about the high CPU. Just playing a single sample loop uses quite a bit of CPU on the default interpolation.

The good parts: working pretty well in 32 bit pclinuxos with official nvidia driver,
using qtractor as host.

Loads Dimension Pro sfz files BOOyahhhh :hihi: 8)

Samples the U-he linux plugins! :hyper:

No other linux vsts were recognized :(

Most soundfonts and multi-soundfonts loaded, but the 'pro' ones from
Digital Sound Factory, were ignored :?

Two of the three zbp files from your site crashed the whole works when loaded,
better brush up on that sound design

Better than I expected for a linux beta. Gui is easy on the eyses,
and click-to-front works well among the various windows/popups,
and other linux apps.
Love the Cakewalk sfz import.
Cheers
