Perfect SF2 import will take some time of course. But overall results have been very positive considering it's beta 1.

And the GUI is ugly as hell, sorry...

Any feedback is welcome! What would the GUI need to get prettier?

theres a few samplers out there that support SF2 but i have yet to find one that incorporates a good
filter and good onboard effects. it would be great to explore soundfonts with
something like this especially in the free or low cost realm. atm i use cakewalk's SFZ+
but as i said, less to be desired filter and effects.

the zbp files load fine today, in a fresh loading of Bliss in qtractor

Sent a Log.txt regarding the e-mu.sf2 loading issue

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm believe Bliss has a vector scalable UI.

Yes, it's a tradeoff sometimes. For a completely scalable GUI that's looking perfect on every single screen resolution vector is a very recommendable choice. Using complex skeuomorphic stuff for that can give very slow, high CPU results.

After deep thinking we decided to go for a simple, vector, modern design and it has been getting very good responses for now

Beta 2 will feature a new 60% GUI size for those who are still using 19" monitors with 1280x1024 resolutions. That would have not been possible with bitmaps.

And I add that every CPU (and memory) resource used for graphic threads... is as less CPU (and memory) available for the purpose of the musical tool: its sound.

Was able to sample the linux Discovery Pro using Bliss, hosted by qtractor.

Bitwig still refuses to see Bliss, but does see Discovery Pro.
Maybe everyone should declare a casual work day, meet in Amalfie,
and sort it out after a nice dinner

Kills Maschine (mac).

GUI definitely needs 60% option. 80% is far too big, even on 1080p display...and very uninspiring.
Edit window opens beneath main window.

That should be fixed on Beta 2.
