I'm not high enough up the food chain to get on the list for a custom build. I think the current waiting list is 2.5 years and you have to actually be someone. :(
I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

Aluminum Wilkinson wraparounds ought to sound similar to the ResoMax and are cheap on eBay. Make sure to find an aluminum one.
Thanks, will do.
I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.

Missed out on the Gibson reverse V, outbid with 7 seconds to go.

If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

None in my local shop though so is it worth a blind buy?
I'm also looking for a new wraparound bridge for my Gordon Smith GS1.5. Are the ResoMax ones worth the silly money or just go TonePros?
ibanez necks have always been great to me. now you have me thinking... maybe time for another ibanez...

I've been recommended Hantug Bridges as they can do a completely custom one as well as good stock ones. Anyone else heard of them?

Then it's worth a go. I've gone with cheap Peaveys before because they are very playable, but now not as cheap.

Their aluminum bridge with titanium saddles seems like the GOAT:

It looks like a winner to me, but this is pretty (brass though :( )

Aussie eBay. The one here went for 1275. I placed the first bid with a minute to go at 1135. I actually used the photo from one in the USA as the Aussie dude was a crap photographer and laid a shadow across the thing. It was an unused guitar of the week reverse v, not the following years re-issue. All good, I won't lose any sleep :-)

Look what this dude does...prices on the model pages...much cheaper than an Ormsby custom. And the Aussie dollar sucks right now.

Even though it's not my thing, hats off to Gibson for experimenting. They once did a twisted up version of the Moderne (as if it's not twisted up looking enough) that was amazing. We wouldn't have the V, Explorer, Firebird, and Moderne if Gibson hadn't been trying new things.

Have you tried any Vintage guitars? I've played a couple lately and for the money they were excellent - I think Trev Wilkinson has done a great job with them.

Yes, they are very good but usually more than £150 which is my limit. The only one I found lower is an SG copy, which I don't like. I also found a Dean Evo XM for £115, but that has a Paulownia body, which isn't very good (apparently, I've never heard of it before). The GAX30 is mahogany.
