Is automation in Cubase just a hassle?

It's a bit funny to hear all the complaints about how hard it is to edit automation in various DAWs and then watch that video as the supposed solution, and then watch a demonstration of the most convoluted and tedious method in the history of DAWs.

storing the envelope in one place and triggering it from many places is far from convoluted and tedious (video was just an example, I don't wanted to create the same video as was created in the automation topic) in Sonar there is no pattern based automation like in FL Studio, so if u have 1000 same envelopes inside a track and like to do the same modification on all of them ...

Yeah it reminds me the so called "Freeze" function in FL. The funny thing is that they made a video about it and they named like that. LOL

Just ask to Scott (Image-Line) how to use freeze in FL...

Doing bezier cuves is easy as pie in Cubase. Just 4 -5 points to create them. Because in final mix, when you listen, (not watch!) like listeners do, you will hear no difference between perfectly smooth curve and a lil bit "square" one.
In the past i've had to edit automations with maniac level of precise. Not anymore. Till this day I never ever heard any compliment/complain about my automations which I do a lot.
As long as its not music done to analyze but to listen, Cubase is more than ok in editing automations
