I found some pages in the web where (session) singers can be hired for about $100 to $300. I'm not really sure with this offers and $300 is also bit expensive. Some offer also the writing of lyrics...

Another idea could be to make a collaboration with a singer (could be also a own project name)...
IMO such deals are always 50/50 for all sales, so it needs a contract for this.

Has somebody experience with hiring a singer and can share some ideas?

IME it's better to find somebody who lives near you than session singers from a global website. It's certainly cheaper - I often "pay" singers a few homemade chocolates with bacon or some fried squid or something.

You live in a large European city which is full of women who like to sing (and even a few guys, but women are much more numerous) - try asking people you know who used to sing in choirs or bands but don't have time anymore, ask musicians if they know any singers who might be into the kind of music you want to make, go to some open mics, look for a local Facebook group for musicians looking for bands. It's easy to find someone to sing, harder to find someone who can write lyrics, especially if you need lyrics in English that will really seem like they were written by a native English speaker.

Oh, and if you don't have a microphone, buy one so you can record singers yourself.
